This was recommended to me by my sister. It goes on very light and did a good job of protecting my neck, chest and shoulders in the sun. I don't expect it to do too much but my boyfriend and I are very pale and a little extra protection is better than nothing. It's also nice for mattifying my makeup. I apply it with a brush and then sometimes rub it in more with my hands. It does leave a white residue that is not super noticeable on ivory skin but it is more noticeable on my pink toned boyfriend, I think anyone darker or redder that's looking not for babies but for their face might want to look for a color that matches their skin tone.
