This product is proven to be SAFE. (Be very diligent in researching, as others have been proven to contain very have harmful ingredients). Sherry B.: Good for fat people after taking a shower. Stops chaffing and helps heal damaged skin, caused by heat, dampness and friction. Not just for babies, works great for adults. Talcum in general is now know to be a carcinogen so this baby powder that is baking soda and vitamin E is a better choice. Vitamin E is know for his healing properties with human skin. Pregnant women use vitamin E on their stretch marks to help lighten them so they are less visible. Aloe Vera is also a know skin healing plant. This isn't holistic medicine pseudoscience b.s.....this is for realz!

The Tech Guy: This Baby Power is Cornstarch Based, is safe to use for babies and adults and works pretty good but not as good as the original talc based formula.
I understand the whole Talcum powder, cancer controversy which is why J&J stopped selling it in North American. Corn Starch baby powder is definitely a safer option for babies, toddlers and children. I wish J&J would still sell the original Talc based baby power only rebranded perhaps for Adult users.
There are still some Talc based powders available on Amazon for Adult users however the are much more expensive and in some cases have to be imported in.
If you are an adult looking for a Talc based powder search amazon for Anti Monkey Butt Powder B001OXFI40, or Imperial Leather Talcum Powder B001RYWECU. Note: I would only use these two products for Adults and continue to use Cornstarch based powder for babies and toddlers.
