Tracie J. TrimTracie J. Trim: I bought sprouting containers from Amazon along with these seeds. I used 1.5Tbs of alfalfa seed. Soaked overnight (Wednesday). Next morning (Thursday) rinsed three times. I read to spin the jar around to get the seeds to stick to the sides so they aren't all piled up. I did that each time after rinsing. Rinsed again that night. Same the next day (Friday). Harvested the sprouts Friday morning. Very little unsprouted seeds. What looks like seeds is just the hulls. Great flavor!
I've seen photos of people having poor results that look like they are just leaving them sit in water. You can't do that. Soak 8-10 hours, regular rinsing and draining well.

product2review: The media could not be loaded. I like having 100 % germination and that's what I got with these seeds. I will buy again! Sprouts are $2.99 at my local grocery store and I have no idea how old they are and they are usually starting to brown on the stems. Just one batch of these using 1 1/2 tbsp produces and batch that is about 3 oz like you get in the produce section of your local grocery store in a plastic container. I did not have a plastic container like they have at the store to store them in, but I did have a saved plastic pie container from buying a pie. I just lined it with paper towels after drying the sprouts on a dish towel for 60 min and then patting them dry. I just set them on the paper towels and slightly covered them with the paper towels and put the plastic lid on the pie container. My sprouts are unbelievably fresh and now I can grow them and plan my grocery list around the germination time. Saving lots of money and having them when ever I want without being out of stock when having a craving for sprouts. Additionally I purchased Red Radish Seeds within a week of making this product because I was so satisfied with the results, I miss eating Red Radishes...
