Angelica D.: I've been ordering from this supplier for over a year in increments. I think I've totaled 60 lbs altogether. I use this product in soap (cold process), creams, sugar scrubs and have never had issues with quality or shipping. I actually found them on here after ordering from their catalog some years back. I know some folks have had issues with their shea on arrival, fortunately, I have not. I will say to be mindful of the time of year you order especially if you don't live close to a distribution center.
If you happen to get yours in one of those plastic containers in the summer and it arrives gritty. One thing to be mindful of is it's probably softened or melted somewhat and should be fine as long you remelt to temp and hold for a few minutes. Another is, shea does often have fiber from how it's made, just pluck the little bits out and boom your good. If your looking for something highly refined this isn't your product.
P.S. Please start offering 10 and 20 lbs deals. There are too many small businesses that need larger amounts but not as high as 75+ lbs at a time.
