MS: We used it to create party ambience and it worked great - bulbs created a beautiful blue with good light output .. not too bright but good enought to see around.
Only thing I would say is, wish it came in BR40 size.

Dutchgirl777: They are bulbs so they give a good amount of light in the area of the bulb. I used these with several other black light options for a dance floor. Very enjoyable. Good quality and I will be able to use them this year for Halloween.
