AGP: This unit takes a bit to get used to. I only use it on the max short setting without attachments as I found it does not work so well with the comb attachments. Test it on your forearm before using it on your pet. It holds a charge very well, and lasts a long time. Plus it can be used with the charging cable if need be.

Missy: I have a very large Maine Coone cat that gets horrible matting all over that brushing just seems to never help. He gets groomed frequently but since he’s matted the majority of the time I wanted to try and start grooming him myself and these clippers have absolutely saved me! They work perfectly! The glide right through his hair and work amazing on the matted areas. They aren’t super loud so they don’t scare him and although it took me quite a while to shave him since he is so large, the battery was still almost fully charged when I was done. The guards are perfect for his face, tail and paws. And this was a great price. I definitely recommend!

N. Vaughn: Noise level, weight and variety of comb attachments were great. Changing the attachments was a little dicey. Sometimes they switched out easily. Other times the attachment got stuck. (Otherwise, 5-star rating would apply.)

The trimmer buzzed through mats (using the #9) on my long-haired cat. He is skittish and I was worried that the noise, action level or vibration might alarm him. It didn't!

Battery life has been great so far. I've used it four or five times already on a single charge and it only just slipped to the next bar down. Overall great product, especially for the price.

HDevineHDevine: I assumed a good razor would cost more than this - and I’m floored by how well it worked! In the past, we’ve paid a mobile groomer to come shave mats off our kitty. I paid $150 every visit, so I decided it was worth it to try these. We’ll never need their services again! He was more calm for me at home then the mobile groomer, but we still had to do half his stomach one day and the other half the next. I know those mats hurt and get tight in his skin.
It came fully charged and ready to use.
The comb was junk, and I didn’t use any of the guards - but I’d 100% recommend this razor for cat mats!
I also used on my Austrian shepherd to trim her rear end. So quick and easy. Worked incredibly! I’m so happy with this purchase!!!

L. Fillion: Our kitty had a couple nasty clumps of fur that would not un-clump and we got the clippers to shave them off so she'd be more comfortable. These are well made, quiet clippers that do their job flawlessly! Our fur baby didn't complain once! As a cat dad who shaves his head regularly, I've had a lot of bad luck with hair clippers. I thought I'd try these on my hair and they are the best clippers I've ever used (better than clippers over twice their price). I'm so happy I bought these clippers because the whole family can use them! Also, they really hold a charge! I've used them multiple times already and have yet to charge them. These things are awesome!

I tried many many products for my cat. I’d tried “human” clippers and that was a nightmare. I have a number of grooming tools like the comb with the razors, numerous scissors that cut fine fur with ease. But none of them can stop the pulling, and that’s what gets teeth in my hand because pulling on a mat HURTS the cat.

I was thinking she was going to have to get a mobile groomer or get some light sedation at the vet .. How on earth was I going to get these mats out of her fur?

I had purchased a large grooming tool like
this years back for a dog and it was two and a half times the price. It worked great, but I wasn’t sure that 39 bucks was going to be enough. But it is. It’s incredible. It does make noise, of course, but my cat doesn’t run screaming. Of course a real anxious animal may not put up with it but this thing works great. She literally didn’t even get out of the bed when I shaved off a mat under her...
