Galyo Csaba: I did a lot of research and think this is one of the better locks. I understand it is not difficult to pick, but it is hard to cut. Therefore I use this one and another one which is easier to cut, but harder to pick. Hopefully that deters any honest thieves.

One negative thing about this lock is that they offer a $5000 warranty if your bike gets stolen. That sounds great, so I registered. I then read the fine print and apparently the warranty is not valid if the lock gets cut or picked. So not sure what that leaves me, maybe if the lock falls off on its own? Anyway, there's nothing wrong with the lock itself, but their marketing department needs to be sacked.

Bryce: Lock works great! It comes apart and back together very smoothly and it seems to be repelling thief’s. However, I want to warn my fellow consumer: the mount attachment for attaching it to your bike is pretty bad. 1. It doesn’t stay in place well- if I jump off a curb the lock swings around a bit. 2. They totally failed with their release design because when you rotate the lock to take it off, the lock rubs really hard against the button you have to press to release it. So I usually take the lock apart then release it but that’s kinda annoying. Hope that helps someone!

Live Simple: Seems very similar to the highly rated Onguard STD, but at a much better price! In fact most other locks this solid are about twice this price. Like everyone said it is heavy, but it has to be if you want a 16.8 mm thick lock. I leave it at home to lock my bikes in my shed; its dry so I haven't had the corrosion prob others mention. We’ll see how it holds up over time.
I read that the open keyhole can be a problem bcuz you don't want dust or dirt to get in there (and I saw that Krypto touts the slding dust covers on their keyholes). So I put a thick rubber band around the straight part, covering the keyhole, then just slide it over to lock and unlock.

Mark: These are not for the timid. They fit my 3” tires on my e-bikes. Heavy, well made and should slow down any rookie to intermediate level thief that isn’t carrying a cordless grinder.

Amazon Customer: Bike ULOCK seems very sturdy and has thick plastic around the lock body, but the ULOCK holding clamp seems flimsy, do not trust it, to support the weight of the lock on bike. Overall nice Lock for the price.

Steven Lee: I have been using it for 2-3months now on a daily basis. My bike is still safe in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The product looks solid and the weight gives me confidence.

Since nothing is perfect, let me gives some recommendations to improve the product.
1) The bolt design can be further improved. There are two different bolt types on the bike and one of them was the star/hexagon-shaped. If the respective screwdriver can be provided like IKEA, that will be great.
2) The holder to mount the lock on the bike is rather flimsy. The plastic holder doesn't hold the lock as good as when it was new.

Conclusion: Good price for a product that serves its purpose.
