Juliya Bogdanovich: Both of my cats love this scratching lounge. Not only do they love to scratch it they also love to lay around in it. The lunge is very well made to last for a while. There are 3 layers of cardboard so when your kitty ruins the first layer you just remove it and there is more for the kitty to scratch. This is my second purchase already. First lounge lasted for over 6 months.

Jessica: My 2 cats love this so much I bought a 2nd one. At first my cats weren't sure what it was and stayed away. But after about a month they would kick each other out so they could get a turn. They actually use the skin scratcher all of the time. They play in this and sleep in it as well. Love the multiple inserts. I leave them all in and just take the top one out when it gets worn . Which takes a long time. I took the first insert out about a year later. If hair builds up I just clean it out. So now I have 2 and both cats switch between them. Best thing I bought for them, they use it every single day and so obvious that they love it. 100% recommend this product.

Il n'en sort que lorsque nécessaire... C'est un peu spécial car habituellement il me suit partout comme un chien, et là, seule la boîte compte à ses yeux, mais il est si heureux... Et il ne tente plus d'aller sur le divan, alors ça aussi c'est un plus. Il y a aussi l'autre chat dans l'histoire. Elle n'aime pas particulièrement la boîte, mais elle aime être là où mon vieux chat est, alors oui, cette boîte peut accueillir deux chats, comme les photos le démontrent. Damon Curry: All five of my cats love this bed. Usually, one or two cats will express interest in a bed I get for them. But all of them lay in this on a regular basis.

None of them uses the chin scratcher. That's fine by me. It's pretty flimsy. I might just take it off ... I wouldn't want a piece of the plastic breaking off and making a sharp edge.

The three removable corrugated scratchers are great. The cats don't scratch on it; they just use it as a bed. But one of them puked in it, so it was easy to just throw out one of the liners and it was good as new. And since it's cardboard, not fabric, I can just vacuum it out easily to get rid of the cat hair that accumulates.

A couple of my cats are pretty big (16, 17 and 19 lbs) and this thing holds up wonderfully over time.

Mac Henry: When this first arrived, my two cats both sniffed it and walked away. Then I threw some catnip in the massage bed and it became a totally different story. Zorro and Miko took turns chasing each other out of the bed and then around the living room. I know part of their reaction was due to the catnip, but as they spent more and more time in the bed and discovered more of its features -- principally the chin scratcher., IT'S NO LONGER ABOUT THE CATNIP.

My one cat ZORRO doesn't easily give himself over to new things. When I got up the other morning, Zorro was sprawled (belly up) in the massage bed looking just like the cat in the ad. A little later, he was in it again -- laying belly down with his neck draped over the chin scratcher portion of the bed. Miko always defers to Zorro, so she usually waits now until Zorro vacates the bed before she crawls in to roll around in it and scratch her back.

It defies logic that both of my cats could be so happy with what is essentially a "souped up" cardboard box -- but that's the truth! I have to admit it makes me happy to see them so happy.

Customer Since 1998Customer Since 1998: There are notes on one of the images. I can't imagine how this is not one of the best sellers on the planet. It has lasted 5 months and I still have only removed one layer. As far as design, this trumps everything I have bought in 2 decades.

I see that the image has been sized down, making the notes too tiny to read. The photos are showing close-ups of the rippled cardboard layers. Also noted is my observation regarding the superior durability and strength of the rippled cardboard vs. normal corrugated scratch boards. This cardboard is solid - no weave/webbing - making it inherently stronger than the corrugated counterpart.

However, like most reviewers here, I seem to have purchased a bed for her highness, not a scratch board. My cat has always liked laying on canvas bags and other rough textures so it does not surprise me too much that she is using it for slumber only. What DOES surprise me is that her 20 hours of sleep per day has been almost exclusively in this dumb box. If I were a cat I would not sleep on this surface. Just looking at the hard ridges gives me a backache. Then again, if I were a cat I would probably be spiteful too. I mean what else...
