Corinne Richards: These are very convenient and easy to use. There are some slightly different models and I don't recommend using the fancy chromed latch version. They don't latch easily. We use this one (two actually) with the folding filler chute and it's great. Some people have commented the chute will not stay up. However, if you look carefully, there are two small latch pieces that hook over the edge of the shallow recessed top. This type of plastic molding is not as consistently accurate as some other types. The simple solution (which I used on our most recent purchase) is to heat the upper half of the chute with a hair dryer and then bending it very slightly by applying some manual pressure. It only takes about 5 minutes and is very easy. Much less time than packing it up and sending it back! You could also do this if it were to wear or gt deformed and stop working.

L. Stenerson: Big dislike! It's like you need to stand there and roll it right after the cat goes. Had to scoop anyways, urine stuck to the sides of box. Waste of my money.

Amazon Customer: this product did not meet expectations. Was very thin plastic and parts did not fit properly. I threw it in the recycle bin after 2 days.

Uncle Bob: It does what it's made for but with problems

-1st: quality.. I paid more than $50 and this thing feels flimsy. You gotta be careful with it. I didn't want to snap anything otherwise it would be a waste of money.
- the idea of the hood to flip down so I can poor clumping litter is genius if you don't want to remove the lid. But my cats knock it down every night and I feel as if it's blocking them from getting in to use there bathroom if I'm not around. I debated to drill into the body to add like a cord and hook so the latch stays up but you have to roll the bin for the litter box to do what it's meant to do and drilling into the already flimsy body might do more harm than good in the long run. I decided to remove it and put it on when I need to use it
-the grill that separates the clean litter from the clumped litter and crap does it's job to a certain extent. If the crap is smaller than the crevices, it's going in with the clean litter. Need to add a net... Also, the grill does stay on while you tumble the box. I didn't need to add zip ties. But the grill only moves out of place if the lid was removed and you are moving the litter box around.

Chris: Well made, easy to assemble, price is good. I gave it a 4 because you do have to whack the bottom a few times. I was not happy with my litters performance so I am trying Fresh step this go around. I think this is one of those products that takes time to get the best results. My old litter (Arm&Hammer) works well in a regular scoop litter box, but not so well with this one. The liter will get gummy and makes it messy, also I would advise to roll your box daily with multiple cats.....I will update my litter performance info as I go...
