Kristen Kirkland: So I have a Pyrenean Mastiff weighing 180 lbs who I rescued, and a Great Pyrenees weighing 120 lbs, another rescue. The Great Pyrenees is known for being a picky eater. Now this is my first experience with the mastiff breed, I was told he was a Great Pyrenees prior to rescuing him, clearly he was not! With that being said, I had asked both previous owners what food they were used to eating. Believe it or not, Alpo was what they were used to. Both came from different places. I didn't even know that food still existed. So I of course bought them the best, Blue, Blue Buffalo, Nutro, you name it, I bought it. Nope, they won't it. Hundreds, well thousands by now down the drain. I am a disabled veteran and do not have the money to just buy at their whim. I started buying FreshPet, and mixed it in with the dry, they did that for a while until, my opinion "got tired" of it. I've bought Liver sprinkles, I've made gravy, I've cooked them chicken, they will not eat vegetables. They will not eat this $90 bag of food I am leaving a review about. Literally turned their noses away. Bubba, the Mastiff will generally give in and eat, nope, not this stuff. Nutri Source so far is the only dog food...

-anon-: Was out go to food for out pet eversince and happy about it.
Then I noticed the prices were a little erratic so for me I always purchased it when it was at the lowest.
Lately, the price is above 70USD at the time of writing which is for me absurd.. wasn't it only 40+ prior.
Anyways, it is an excellent dog food I admit
Was able to maintain our dogs weight by following the advised serving.
Fast forward 2023.. unfortunately we had to switch to a Kirkland brand switch is similar. Almost the same ingredients, same weight, almost half the price.
Remember: If you are switching foods for your pet.. do the transition method like slowly mixing the new food until eventually to the new food. Thank me later. :-)

Coy's mom: How do you tell a hungry toddler they can't have anything to eat? How do you do tell them when they don't speak or understand the your language? I don't think of my fogs as human, but I consider our communication as toddler and adult. That's where this kibble comes into the picture. I have 3 very intelligent, cooperative, very busy, active, herding breed dogs. They receive 2 meals a day and various value treats throughout the day. Their weight needs to remain stable and safe so it doesn't hurt them in their activities. They compete in and train in agility, scent detection, obedience, rally, FastCat, rat hunting activities and etc. Ages are 7-10 years. Part of their diet is Nutro healthy weight at 231 calories/cup. It allows them to eat, and yes, they ask to eat, it works well in treat dispensing toys, and is a great addition to their lifestyle of ever learning. When they learn to climb the 9ft A-frame, or jump 20" for agility, the kitchen counter is nothing. Scent detection in public places makes a garbage can an easy find in a home. The positive training techniques have made them an incredible team, and supplementing their diet with a low cal, balanced nutrition kibble has kept...

Jeremy: I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to. I rescued a coonhound from a shelter about two years ago. He is the most picky eater I've ever seen. He has zero interest in any food I put in his bowl. Dinner is always a fight to get him to eat. That is until I tried this brand. FINALLY! He gobbles it up. I had almost lost hope after trying so many different brands. Happy to finally have one he'll eat!

Keyarra: My cats like the food we eventually bought from this brand, but this listing has not worked out well. You’ll notice the picture for the smallest bag of indoor cat white fish flavor is actually a picture of dog food. I assume they didn’t have a picture of the cat food and used that for a stand in, but it seems like either things are organized wrong where things are shipped or whoever is packing just looks at the picture because although we select the right food options, we always get the chicken dog food. I assume this will not happen for other sizes, but who knows.

Sarah Ann 🌷Sarah Ann 🌷: My doggies have eaten this for years. Their coat is always healthy and they love it! A vet told me that a way to tell if it's a good food, is not by price or brand, but by how their bodies digest it (if their 💩 is normal) which it always is with this food.
