The only reason for the 4 stars is the size. It works well and the food cooked in it comes out well. You will have to experiment and adjust time and temperature to get the best results, but that is part of the fun of cooking.
I bought the smaller sized unit which works for one or two people. It works well, but you will need to be flexible on the time and temperature as you learn how things cook. The times and temperatures provided are just guidelines, and not set in stone.
I leave in a hot part of the country, so this little air fryer works well to cook meals without hearing up my whole house and costing me more in electric bills. The meat has come out tender and jucy. French Fries are crisp and tasty when done from scratch, and if bought from a drive in restaurant, they can be crisped up in a hurry if needed. I prefer to hand wash mine as it will prolong the life of the basket and grill. Also there are great suggestions on Youtube including parchment paper to save clean up hassels when cooking sticky or messy foods. I would recommend this product.

First of all, the fryer is big while its capacity is very small. I thought it would be ok since I cook for myself only but I like to make enough for at least 2 servings. I tried chicken wings and the capacity is best for 5 wings, 6 appears to be too many. Second, it takes much longer than the instructions make you believe. The manual shows the air-fryer filled with French fries up to the rim but if you fill it up only half way you will end up with a soggy mess. But, if your idea of lunch is 5 shrimp (medium size) then you may be happy with it.
This was a waste of money and I regret this purchase.
I am editing of my original rating of 2 stars and replacing it with a single star only. After only 3 uses, the teflon coating in frying basket flaked off in two spots (two spots the size of a dime each) and the spots became rusty. No utensils ever touched the frying basket (the food sits on a perforated insert plate). I had to return it. Beware of a cheaply made item.
