Get the best Bluetooth car kit on the market today - the Nulaxy KM18!Louis Levner: I purchased this to replace an older Nulaxy Wireless Bluetooth FM Transmitter because the LCD screen had become unreadable. The new version works, but does not cover the entire FM range as the older model did. It works, but the lower frequency was better because there were no radio stations in my area that used the frequency. The lowest this would is 88.1 mhz. Today while driving to the dentist, my audio book became unusable because i entered the range of a radio station broadcasting on 88.1. I had to find another clear channel. I did not appreciate that.

Jim Smith: I have had this KM18 FM Transmitter since December 2019. I use it every time I’m in the car. I listen to my playlists and podcasts to and from work. I have an older model vehicle with a cd player in the dash. This device allows me to tap into all the music I have on my cell phone and keeps my truck tidy. No fumbling with CD’s. It syncs with my phone via Bluetooth once I crank the truck. I start up a playlist before I start driving. And with the two USB ports, I can charge my phone at the same time if needed.
It comes in handy when traveling also. I start my GPS and can here the directions through the truck speakers without having to take my eyes off the road. Convenient and safe. Would definitely recommend getting this.

Karl J: Although a marvel of microelectronics, there is still room for improvement.
The display is pinned to the gooseneck so it cannot be swiveled 180 degrees and for the display to be right-side-up you have to orient the plug with the gooseneck pointing down forcing you to bend the gooseneck in to a difficult 180 degree bend. There is one user picture of the display being oriented upright with the gooseneck pointing up on the plug but I'm no sure how they achieved this. The product pictures clearly show what I'm describing. The usb plug descriptors even suggest the display should be 180 degrees (descriptors are upside-down if plug is oriented correctly).
My other major complaint is the sound quality. I know the signal path has to traverse many conversions along the way (digital->digital and digital->analogue) but the final product is below average. I was using a cassette adapter to get audio in to my stock head-unit until the cassette player died and this bluetooth/fm modulator is a big step backwards in sound quality. There is loads of digital clipping/artifacting, especially noticeable on the upper mids/highs, which worsens with bass-heavy music or "hot" recordings. I...

mprovd: The 2 things that I like most about this Nulaxy Bluetooth FM Transmitter are how well it interfaces with Bluetooth and how easy it is to set up.
By interfacing well, I mean that if I've left my car to run an errand, as soon as I'm back and close enough to my car, the unit detects my phone and reconnects flawlessly with the radio. I use an Android audio app called Pulsar, and it just works perfectly with the Nulaxy. (For obvious reasons, I can't vouch for your app or your phone's performance with the transmitter.) Back and forward controls -- in fact ALL the controls -- work as advertised.
I don't expect great sound quality in a car -- after all there's all that wind and road noise. But this device did not degrade the sound of my car radio -- certainly not enough to notice. I have zero complaints about sound quality.
Set up was exceptionally easy, and the unit retains my settings, so that's not a problem.
I remember similar units I have purchased in the past -- years ago -- and the technology has improved dramatically. Once you're set up, you can pretty much use this little transmitter on autopilot.
One tip I got from another user's feedback, is to do an internet...

Father of Twins: Overall I’d recommend and buy again. I played a stereo test file and it is stereo. TIP: To avoid distortion on the highs (sibilants, hi hats) I reduce the volume on my iPhone one below max. In other words, turn iPhone volume to max then down one. Turn this Bluetooth device to max then down one. Then adjust volume on the car radio.
I don’t love the screen or bendy neck but I don’t hate it. The lights seem random, not based on EQ frequencies of the audio.
Nice to see the car’s battery charge level. :)
Reception is good for short trips. We found a suitable “station” (static) that only fails along specific spots in our commute. These devices always fail on long road trips. Inevitably you’ll need to change the station.
