Nostalgia RCOF12AQ Retro 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Improved Features

H. Bernhardt: Stopped working after 4 months. Took the whole thing apart and cleaned all the parts, but it didn’t help. Would steam and gurgle for over a half hour and make a quarter pot of terrible coffee. At 6 months I finally asked for a replacement under warranty with the company, which took two months on back order to get the same color. Asked for the newer version thinking they surely would have fixed the problem that so many customers had complained about publicly on Amazon. The newer version lasted 5 months before it just stopped working altogether, refused to brew at all. Contacted the company and because I had now exceeded the original coffee maker’s 12 month warranty by one month, they would not refund or replace it. Terrible cheap junk that will end up in a landfill. Not nostalgic at all. Things used to be built to last, now everything is made with planned obsolescence.

Jools IrvingJools Irving: What a gem. This retro coffee maker fits right into my country cabin. It's got all the regular features and doesn't look like a neo-brutalist torture device, like so many of the modern coffee pots do. All that stainless steel!

Unfortunately for me Nostalgia Products has an entire coordinating range so I'm screwed 😁

JenJen: Love the look. I have waited a long time to get this. Just needed the old maker to stop working. This maker is stylish and makes a nice pot of coffee. I was worried about there being no "bold" brew setting but I have used the same amount of grounds and the coffee tastes great!

Something about this carafe pours better than my old maker, also.

Easy to clean, love the reusable filter.

The only thing I don't like about this stylish and simple to use coffee maker is that there is no water window. You cannot see if there is already water in or how much. Guess I'll just have to pay attention. ;)

Love it for now...I will update after 30 days.

William Creitz: Really like the ease of use, color, and profile. It fits on our counter and beneath our cabinets very well. This is the second of these great coffee makers that we have purchased.

Amazon Customer: The picture shows a light yellow. They tell you the color is yellow. It arrived and it was TAXI-CAB YELLOW. Bright yellow. Screaming yellow. We complained, and they told us the color can be different from the picture. Also told us we could return it but it would be at our cost for shipping.
After some more complaining they agreed to cover shipping costs for the return. Super disappointed. This looked awesome, but the color is awful, and very misleading to have a very different color in the picture from what is sold.
Do your homework before buying.
