Just ordered this after enquiring with a couple local Hvac companies as well as hitting up Home Depot and Lowe’s... Neither HD or Lowe’s had this size in stock and the cheapest Factory Carrier filters from the Hvac companies were $180 each!!! (And they weren’t Merv 15).
So after measuring my filter cabinet I took a chance on these. AWESOME! They arrived a day early, they fit like a glove, came in a two pack that makes them less than half the price of a Carrier Factory filter.
Very happy with this product so far, and excited to see how well the Merv 15 help the sire quality.

We moved from a home with a furnace that had an electronic air filter, to a brand new home that doesn't. With the electronic system, it wasn't necessary to change filters, just to keep them clean. Now I'm in the new Throw-away era, which doesn't really seem very advanced to me.
I launched an Internet search to find out what I needed. I quickly found that our new furnace used a pretty popular size, but that different offerings had different "MERV ratings.(What the heck is that.") More research. Then I moved on to checking prices and user reviews on Amazon. I ended up with the Nordic Pure filters, based on a quite reasonable price and solid reviews.
So far, I'm happy. Airflow from the furnace seems to be full and normal. The filter fit fine with room to spare. The filter itself looks flimsy, cheaply made, and fundamental. But then it also doesn't really need to be made with a frame of highest quality cardboard decorated with expensive printing that has no function. And that's the keyword here, FUNCTIONAL, probably the reason these Nordic Pure filters are built to do the job without costing an arm and a leg.

Ok, I received this yesterday and it's a perfect fit! I originally went to Home Depot to purchase a 16x25x4 filter for my furnace, but apparently my furnace's exact measurements are 15.5x24.5x3.75, even though the old filter says 16x25x4 on the box (with tiny wording about the exact measurements below which i neglected). So apparently after purchasing my filter from Home Depot it didn't fit. Grr. Luckily Home Depot took the filter back even though it was opened. Anyways, suffice to say Home Depot didn't carry any filters with the exact measurements I needed. I was told to do a special order online. I went online and found they only had 1 at my size. And even then the MERV rating was only a 4. Luckily I found it here at Amazon and they had so many selections. Not only that, but the MERV rating is a 12, sweet. This is perfect since I have very bad allergies and a 2 year old child at home. And the price was much better too. I got two filters for $40 vs. $32 for 1 at Home Depot. And delivery was super fast. I don't have Amazon Prime, so I selected the free super saver delivery late Monday night and I got it Thursday. I guess living in Seattle helps. ...
