Liked that Velcro strap allows to cinch tight to comfort level.
Liked the added reflective banding along the edge.
Ended up buying three different sets from this brand. Wish there were more colors.

Brit: I used these for the first time and they’re great. I did a lot of research on these since my wrists are so small and I wanted something that wouldn’t slip around. These fit well and do the job. I got them to save a little money on going up a size in dumbbells. I can wear these and lift my current dumbbells together and I’m very satisfied.

Enid1090: I like them but if you have very thin ankles it can be a problem to adjust them, I used them for a year almost every day, they were a bit loose and they were quite tight but at some point they began to throw out the sand inside.

Dave Reid: Because the weights are tapered the wide end is heavier and pulls my ankle over so I have to centre the wide end over the top of my foot to avoid the pulling to one side.

EA: The item came in a dismantled box and some water damage is seen on the instruction manual. The fabric on the weights is peeling as well. Overall the product itself is good (I am a fan of Nordic Lifting) but the shipper doesn’t take care of the item.

W: I decided on this brand after some research and saw it on a list of "best of"s. Adjustability is always a bit iffy with velcro, which is to be expected, and I find that you need to adjust it accordingly - tight enough so it doesn't slide around, but no so tight it stops blood circulation!! Once you get that 'sweet spot' (mind, it took me a while to figure it out) it's comfortable enough to walk around all day with.
Went for the 3lb grey which was on sale (Amazon notes it was "lowest price in the past 30 days"), and it was half the price than other more popular/lighter weights in the rang, so felt it was a bargain. Had a slight issue on receipt but customer service was very prompt in responding; professional and polite. Item is good quality overall and very happy with the quick dispatch.

Donald Cameron: After 8 weeks confined to bed after surgery for a torn patella tendon, I lost a great deal of endurance, muscle mass and strength. As a serious competitive runner for more than 50 years, I was quite down and frustrated about not being in good shape. The surgeons recommended a very slow and cautious recovery with which I totally agreed--I never want to go through an experience like this again. As part of my recovery, rebuilding strength and learning how to walk again, I bought a pair of ankle/wrist weights (2 lbs each). I used them on my first walks (about 1/2 mile) with crutches and a knee brace. After a few weeks of this and slowly lengthening the distance I walked, I was able to give up the crutches and walk only with the knee brace. Initially it was indicated that I would be able to walk normally and comfortably by the end of October (the accident was in mid -May) but it now seems I will be able to walk without the brace by the end of September. I am convinced that wearing these ankle weights has contributed to my more rapid than anticipated recovery. I wear them while walking each day (now up to 2 1/2 miles) and doing leg lifts and abdominal strengthening each day. I would...

The only issue is they say not to get wet. Well, for something that's going to be exposed to sweat, shouldn't you provide a solution for how to wash them?
