Purchased this thermometer and it is not even close to accurate. I took my sons temp with this and it read the color green with temp of 98.8 I didn't feel that was right so used the oral thermometer and he had a fever of 101.2. Kept checking it with both thermometers and it never worked. Total waste.

This thermometer is very easy to use and it seems to work great. It even has a mode to check the temperature of things like a baby bottle. The accuracy is also good. I would give it 5 stars all around except it is a pretty lightweight plastic that I’m concerned won’t hold up for the long term.
