ShaneShane: I am a bourbon and old fashioned fan, so I decided to try my hand at making them at home and found this product. The flavor notes are definitely there, such as cherry, cinnamon, orange, and more. The flavor tasted a bit artificial, but the flavor isn't terrible. I like that the product is non-GMO and gluten free, so you can drink your alcoholic beverages but still feel slightly healthy. Note that the shelf life is 3-4 months after opening. We have had ours a few months and the flavor strength does decline after a few months in the fridge as expected. This is best used with a smooth bourbon that doesn't have other infused artificial flavors. Overall great product.
