It doesn’t stain ( though I wouldn’t Recommended letting stain prone foods/liquids just sit for hours). And it’s super easy to put together. My one warning is to not try and take off warning labels (mine started to peel when I first got it and I tired Taking the rest off. Not happening.. I’m not sure what kind of magic adhesive they used but it’s not coming off (also cancels the warranty) my ONLY Problem is that nothing suctions to the tray! After a year of trying so many different suction products the one and only thing that kinda works are EZPZ products other than that it’s not sticking.

TiGo: I’m from Europe and lots of people over there have the Tripp Trapp high chair, I actually grew up using one 30 years ago and it still looks exactly the same! So when I got pregnant my first thought was to get a Tripp Trapp. Well, that was before a friend of mine told me about Nomi. It’s designed by the same seating designer but it’s new and improved. I love that you can adjust the foot rest and seat to any height without any tools—makes it so much easier than having to get out tools to loosen up 6-8 screws to adjust a Tripp Trapp! And it’s surprisingly lightweight—the Tripp Trapp is really heavy and bulky. I also love that you can just wipe the Nomi clean--there are no crevices that trap food. I was an au pair for a family that had a Tripp Trapp and I remember it was a pain in the butt to clean. The open design on Nomi and the waterfall edges are a big improvement in comfort and support for proper seating for my baby. I also used the Nomi Baby attachment for the first 6 months and it was perfect to have the baby right up at the table with us, so much better and nicer than a bouncer on the floor. Haha…I just went on and on but obviously I...

Austin CannonAustin Cannon:
We've had our Nomi for about a month and a half and I wanted to wait to write this review until we had used it for a while so I could give my honest opinion about it. And, we seriously couldn't be more happy with it! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous and complements the style of our home, our daughter loves it because she can so easily get up on it and push herself away from the table if she needs to (thanks to the little wheels on the back "legs" of the chair). It is also so light (yet sturdy), so we can easily move it between our dining room and patio table when we want to eat outside. We can easily carry it with one hand which we could never do with our Stokke Tripp Trapp.
I also love that it's so easy to adjust the seat and footrest, and that it's so comfortable to sit on even for adults. When we have another kid we will definitely buy the newborn bouncer attachment - this was actually one of the reasons we wanted the Nomi chair to begin with. I think that will be so much better than a floor bouncer so the baby can better see what's going on when we have dinners, doing dishes, or whatever! I'd imagine it's nice too if you have pets so you don't have to...

Marlene: A bit of a challenge to put together, as you really need an extra pair of hands to hold the base together as you tighten the screws, but very easy to figure out what goes where. All tools were included. Allen wrenches are not the easiest to work with but they do the job. The chair itself seems very sturdy and well-made, and should last for many years. It took me (by myself) about a half hour to assemble, once I was able to brace the base against something so the screws would tighten properly. There is a video available to help with assembly. Happy with this chair. It allows the child to sit right at the table, and not have to use a tray, and sit apart, as in a regular high chair. There is a movable foot rest, which slides up and down and is great for the child. It is all highly adjustable.

GretaGreta: The nomi works well for my son and it seems comfortable for him to use. I find it very easy to clean and move. Overall we have really enjoyed the nomi. Unfortunately it looks as if it is either poorly made or defective. He has been using the chair for about six months. The wooden back piece is made of layers and it appears that those layers are separating and peeling off. Really crappy outcome for a high chair that costs hundreds of dollars. Don't waste your money on this.
