Abiie Beyond Wooden High Chair with Tray: 6 Months to 250 Lb. Capacity, Natural Wood Finish with Black Cushion

Josie: I bought this chair as a baby shower gift. I saw the same chair at a store almost $200 more. I find it small. The chair has no wheels. But this was the chair on the future mother’s wish list. She was happy to get it.

Samantha: We did a ton of research on high chairs and ended up picking the Abiie Beyond. So far, we have no regrets! We bought the natural wood with the black cushion and it's looks awesome. My favorite part is how easy it is to clean. You will be cleaning the high chair every. single. day. Choose wisely!

Other things we like are:
- easy to get baby in and out
- the tray has two positions and can be close to our 7 month old
- the clear tray cover is easy to get on and off
- you can buy every piece separately. We haven't had to replace anything, but I like that we have that option! Especially if we have more babies. I might just want to switch up the cushion cover color next go around.
- it feels like quality and has a thoughtful design
- it's ergonomic
- can have a 5 point or 3 point harness

The only improvement I would suggest is to enlarge the tray's depth. Most suction plates won't fit, but some do! And we mostly just put food straight on the tray.

Overall, we love it!

D Facchi: The design is great because you can continuously adjust the height of the seat and foot rest to accommodate growth. The straps are sturdy and reliable. We are not as enthused about the cover on the seat and back. It doesn't clean up well without a fine brush like a nail brush, and food gets trapped along the edges under the seat cushion. It is still an excellent product, just a smidge better if clean up was easier.

Briana: Originally we had the Ikea antilop for ease of cleaning and the yeahbabygoods footrest. It worked ok, but our baby has some very chunky thighs and his little legs got bruised trying to gently slide him in through the leg holes. I also didn't like that the tray wasn't easily removable for cleaning. I looked at all of the higher end chairs (stokke, lalo, etc) and this one met all of our needs. The adjustable height for the seat and footrest, removable tray and wipe clean seat pads for easy cleaning, full harness for safety rather than just a lap belt, and no preset leg holes to try and slide my big baby into. Loving it so far and baby boy seems very happy in it!

Tia CookeTia Cooke: We have had this for a little over a month now and it is working a whole lot better for my 16 month old than the previous bulky Chicco high chair we had. Although she was growing, the high chair wasn’t suiting her any better, even with the support I would add under and behind her.
This high chair gives her proper back support, 90* sitting positions — back, hips , knees — and provides foot support. I’ve noticed improvement in her eating and meal time engagement.
It’s easy to clean, lightweight, versatile, and matches home decor. We love it!

Anonymous: The Pros: The high chair feels sturdy and made well with quality materials. The seat cushion and wood is easy to clean as long as you don't let the food sit to long. The lapbelt strap connects and disconnects easily and the tray removes from the chair easily. I'm looking forward to using the adjustable seat feature in the future when the baby is older. Overall we are happy with the high chair.

Improvements needed:
- The shoulder straps don't really work. Either they are so tight that your child can't move and is leaning back against the seat, or they are loose and fall down the baby's shoulders.
- There are only two tray positions about 2.5" apart, so either the tray is squished tight against the baby's belly (with the buckle in between), or there is a large gap between the tray and the baby (hello dropped food).
- The plastic top on the wooden tray is very difficult to remove to wash. We end up wiping it down first so food isn't flung across the room when we remove it.

Overall it's a good high chair!

Katrina: I did a lot of research before finally deciding to purchase this high chair. I wanted something solid, made out of natural materials, a 5-point harness, foot rest, and easy to clean. So far the Abiie has met all of those requirements. On top of that, it has a beautiful aesthetic and at a much more reasonable price point than the Tripp Trapp. I was happy I could order a high chair that already came with a comfortable seat and tray instead of having to add it on for yet more money. Very easy to get baby in and out. Other reviews mentioned that the tray is a bit small, and I was concerned about that. However our silicone sticky plates fit just fine on the tray, and so far I don’t feel it’s too small.

My only complaint is that one of the high chair legs was delivered with a scratch, but it is fairly minor.

MMMM: We love our Abiie! It’s easy to clean and so long as you wipe the straps down right away after eating they don’t get very dirty. This chair has given our son so much confidence in BLW that he didn’t have in the previous chair we had. I don’t have the issue some others have had with the straps slipping, they seem to fit well. Our son sits more upright in the Abiie which has made a huge difference for him. It’s lightweight enough for me to carry my son in one arm and grab the Abiie from our storage spot and it doesn’t have a large footprint in our small house. Overall we’re very happy. I just wish the whole tray came out with one hand, not just the snap on tray but still happier with this than any other chair.

Lindsay A.: We love this chair! It was incredibly easy to put together, but what we love the most is the easy clean-up. The tray pops off and is so quick to wipe down. The look matches our kitchen table perfectly, and we love that it will be able to grow with our daughter. Definitely worth the money!
