Eric: Clock is pretty accurate but you have to set it yourself. It has a nice large blue display and you can even adjust the brightness of it. This is a very nice clock for a table or desk.

dazy: This alarm clock is exactly what I was looking for. The numbers are large and easy to read. I find the blue glow pleasing, and appreciate that I can adjust the level of brightness to suit myself.

There is a choice of several alarm sounds. I don't "love" the sound... If prefer a simple electronic alarm time, but I don't feel any of the options are exactly right. I've chosen the musical one, which is fine... But sounds a little hollow and scratchy, although it still works ok. Volume is also adjustible.

Buttons are simple and easy to find and use. The clock is pretty lightweight and compact I like having the USB port on the side, but I wish there were 2. Good value, and it shipped out to me fast and showed up in good condition.

I would recommend.

AlandSan: Really easy to set this up all control buttons on the front panel. Able to change clock forwards and backwards we all know why that is important! Brightness is adjusted by a slider at the back of the clock so once set you don't disturb it accidentally and it can be set to you cannot even see the time in the day and is just visible at night time.
Had an initial issue as the battery backup had failed on the original one. Contacted seller who were happy for me to open it up and have a look unfortunately the back up battery is not user changeable as it appears soldered in place!
Reported back to seller who replaced the item and this time the battery back was working! I feel this is a manufacturing fault as the battery will start to drain from the moment it is put in the clock and the user is NOT able to replace this when it fails so only time will tell how long this will work. Its should last as is only used in power failures but when you have an important alarm set you want it to go off even if there has been a power failure. Marked down 1 * for this reason.
3* for clock and 5* for customer service

Papa Doc Penfro: My ageing eyes were struggling to read the time on my radio alarm and I needed a bedside clock with bigger numbers. The digits on the Noklead are huge, and I find their blue colour relaxing, while the ability to dim them to a perfect brightness level is a very valuable feature. There was no difficulty setting it up but, when I tried to test the battery backup by turning off the power, everything was lost: as several other reviewers have complained, the advertised battery backup simply doesn't work. Supposedly there is a 2032 button cell inside the case, but since there is no non-destructive method of opening it up then this can neither be checked nor replaced. Four stars because I like it as a clock, but you should be aware that, if your power goes off; so does the time on your clock, and it doesn't come back.

(update): Out of frustration and annoyance, I made a more serious effort to dismantle the clock, to solve the mystery of the battery. I can report that it does exist, however it's soldered to the PCB in a way that makes it impossible to either test or replace it. And mine still loses the time settings when mains power is interrupted.

Former Oilfield Worker: After decades, the digital alarm clock I bought at Walgreens in 1990 died. I think I got my money's worth out of it. This clock is accurate, the alarm is volume and type of alarm sound is adjustable. What I was looking for was an adjustable brightness and that is adjustable on this too. It has large enough numbers that us older people don't need glasses to see. I must confess that I haven't used an alarm clock since smart phones became common. I use it for when I wake up for whatever reason in the middle of the night to see what time it is. I have it set very dimly and it work great for that.

Cathryn D.: Finally a clock I can see without my glasses! This display is nice and large, and you can adjust the brightness level. The factory setting of full intensity is rather bright, so I toned it down for sleep purposes. There are different alarm tones, very pleasant choices from ocean noises to a loud persistent one. Something for everyone in the alarm department. There's also a USB connection, which is great. But I do not use it for anything other than the big display, in the bedroom, and reading it without my glasses. I am so pleased with this purchase, no regrets! Lovely! Very lightweight unit. Shows am/pm or a 24 hr readout, your choice. Small footprint, doesn't take up a lot of room on the nightstand. Can't go wrong!

Karen B.Karen B.: BUY IT. It came on time. Very easy to set time and alarms. I know alot of alarm clocks say they are easy to set. But there not. I'm hear to tell you this one is. The button's are big and right there so you can just glance down while your setting up time/alarms. It took me 5 minutes to unpack and set time and alarm. Great for the elderly too. You don't have to sacrifice your daughter or son to get an alarm clock that actually works and you can see the buttons and very easy just set the time and alarms whole thing took me 5 minutes. Great value. I'm very happy with my purchase.
