M. MitchellM. Mitchell: The media could not be loaded.  * We were replacing a part for a Rubbermaid Gott 5 gallon cooler.

This seemed like a no brainer to install. However, it wasn't. It took a bit of fiddling with to figure out the connection. There's a lot of parts that came threaded on. What to put inside and what goes on the outside wasn't clear because it didn't come with instructions and it's different than the original part.

We want to save you the hassle so here's how it finally came together well. (see video also)
On the outside, only put the one clear rubber gasket with the shorter lip facing toward the jug. Then the rest of the parts get threaded on the inside.
Inside: See picture for order of the parts. the one is separated by which parts go on the outside and which go on the inside)
If you prefer to have it written out: The other clear gasket goes next with the short lip facing toward the end of the threads. Then the white plastic gasket goes next to it with the sharp edge facing the other gasket. Then thread on the nut which pushes the plastic into the rubber gasket creating a tight fit against the inside of the cooler.

The flow is incredibly slow.
Also, the button is easy to get accidently pushed.
I emptied a cooler into the back seat of my truck because when I shut the back door it pushed the button open.
