Janet: I have a SAMs BBQ charcoal grill with gas starter, love it but it didn’t have temp gauge. I drilled a hole and used one of the gauges and it’s a perfect fit! Works well and I’m able to control the desired temperature.

vlogan: Ordered two of these. Boiled water and immersed each in the boiling water. Each read appropriately 212 - 215 deg F. Completely acceptable to me.
