Allen F: Purchased for work. Able to scan different type of barcodes. Simple to setup & connect to phone via bluetooth. Other associates have had issues with these devices. It’ll just stop scanning. Half the time you’ll just need to reset the scanner & reconnect it.

variable: The USB-C charging port on the unit will ONLY work with a USB-A to USB-C cord. I tried half a dozen combos of cables and different USB-C chargers and none worked. That's not to say there isn't one out there that would, but I see no point in hunting one down just for this. Should have just stuck to micro-usb and avoid confusion.

Also, looks like it doesn't charge unless it's on - or rather, it has no indicator unless it's on, no idea if it charges when it's off.

Pepeilloesco: Usaba otro escaner, es para escanear las entradas del teatro Corral de Comedias de Almagro, con el primero que compre, fallaba mucho escaneando los QR desde los moviles, impresas en papel bien, PERO CON ESTE NUEVO MODELO, perfecto, scanea a cualquier distancia los QR desde el movil o impreso en papel, con poco iluminacion y muy rapido... PRODUCTO EXCELENTE.

Edward W Miller II: If you need to read GS1-128 barcodes, this is NOT the scanner for you. It will read them as long as they don't contain a group separator. It does not recognize or output the group separator which makes parsing a GS1-128 barcode impossible. I contacted their support through their website and using their support email address. No response.
Update 5/5: After a couple of email exchanges, support sent me a barcode that did configure the scanner to send the group separator in the output stream. I'm updating the review to 4 stars. The scanner now does what I need but the quick start guide that comes with the scanner and the manual that is available online do not contain the barcode to enable outputting the group separator. If you are scanning GS1 128 barcodes with application identifiers, that's essential. The manual should contain that configuration barcode.

Fernando Morales: So I originally bought a 2d scanner but I realized that was not enough for my job so I went ahead and got this scanner. This scanner does it's job. It lights up barcodes with a white light and uses a thick bar to scan what is in front of it. I used it to scan qr codes, barcodes, colored barcodes and even barcodes from 10 feet away with no issues. The only issue I have with it is not present on the actual documentation they give you and this is very critical.

Do not use a type c to type c cable to charge it. Use a usb a to usb c cable like the one they sent with it.

For some reason the designers did not even think to put an internal step down for the type c connector so it's not a true type c connection that can fast charge. What it requires to charge and to connect to a device through wired connection is usb a to usb c. You can get one from amazon or a pack for less than ten bucks and it works. If you try to charge with a type c it will not work.
