Ken Sirota: I am a surfer and I needed some protection for my feet, but this definitely is not what I was looking for. They’re more like big socks they’d be good for just walking around on the sandy shore line and maybe over some bigger rocks, but smaller a little pebbles will still hurt your feet. I’m sure.

AA: I should have read the description closer, I was looking for a water resistant sock, these are not even close to being water resistant, but in looking further they don't claim to be. The fit was very good, I tried them over a pair of cushioned darn tough merino wool socks. I was looking for something for hiking in snow that would keep my foot and sock dry. Snug but not too snug, no bunching anywhere that would be a blister creator, not bad for the money. I am not sure they help keep your foot any warmer than what just a good pair of merino wool socks do by themselves. For no more benefit that I felt they gave they aren't worth packing in the event you might need them. The added few ounces aren't worth the benefit.

General Insomnia: These are what I needed. I use them as fin socks under Churchill fins, and they keep my feet warm and comfortable in the cool California sea (50-55 degrees Fahrenheit). With these, I can stay in the water without my feet getting cold or chaffed. They are the perfect thickness, and the workmanship seems good.

My particular use is for kneeboard surfing, and I like to ride my bike to the beach. Once under my fins these fins socks work perfectly. However, a fin sock which works so well inside my fins is not going to be impervious to abrasion from walking on concrete and asphalt. Also, they are thin enough that they are not very comfortable riding on bike pedals. The way I address these limitations is by taking them off when I need to walk on asphalt, and by covering my bike pedals with a separate piece of neoprene.

For comparison, I would not worry about my bike pedals or walking on asphalt in my O'Neil booties, which are much more substantial; but those booties are torture if used in my fins. I also have a pair of Cressi fin socks which are thinner, more delicate, and less warm - I'll save those for tropical vacations.

j: Quality was fine but I was sent 2 different sizes. 🙄

Carlos Meson: I'm using this socks for swimming in an indoor pools with fins. I don't like them because start to fill with water immediately after a shower. I thought they were sealed properly like I used other ones before.

Client d'Amazon: Confortable , mais j'aurais dû prendre plus épais !

Raffi: Got the 2mm full length neoprene sock to use with my 7mm neoprene boot and it's the perfect little addition of just the right amount of warmth and filler to keep the feet in 4*C Tobermory water temperature content. Decided on 2mm as any thicker would require a larger boot size for me. Wore on 6 Tobermory dives trips so far, 32 dives, and shows no sign of wear. As good condition as first day use.

Richard St denis: I thought that they were a little thin for 2mm.

Pax Jasper: I purchased an entire set of Neosport wetsuit gear to use for surf fishing so I'm going to review all the pieces together for comfort, fit, and function under these conditions. I like to wade out in rough surf when fishing in winter and waders are dangerous because they can fill up.

I'm not connected to the company in any way, I just bought the bottoms first, liked them, and decided to go with a matched set.

***FIT***
Me: I am 5 foot 7 inches tall, and 165 lbs. I wear 30 inch inseam and 30 inch waist in pants, but my chest is 42 inches and I need a 16 1/4 inch shirt for my neck. I've lifted weights off and on for many years so my arms and legs are somewhat large. I need a 9.5 or 10 wide in shoes, depending on the brand and fit.

Neoprene 7/5mm Vented Bib Hood: I bought an extra large hood and it fits fine. Just measure your head and use the size guide. The neck fits good as well with no constriction. There is a little gapping at the temples - where your face naturally curves in a bit - but I don't think this can be avoided.

Neoprene 5mm Waterman Wetsuit Jacket: I went with a large 5mm for a couple of reasons. (1) I tried a medium in a different brand...

C. Cleveland: Great product for a little extra warmth and prevent irritation from you dive boots. I bought new dive boots last year, and they rubbed my feet raw during a 3 week dive trip, and I found my toes were going numb from cold by the end of most dives. I bought the NeoSport 2mm socks to go under my 3mm dive boots both for extra warm and to prevent the stitching of my boots from tearing up my ankles. They worked great! Just finished 17 dives in 5 days, not a single hot spot on my ankles and my feet stayed warm!

Regarding size, I'm a female who wears an Aqua Lung dive boot in a Men's 8 and bought the NeoSport sock in a size 7. I was hesitant about the sizing from the other reviews, but for me this worked great. If I was going to wear the socks without boots over them, there is a little extra space in the sock, but for going under the boots, the size was perfect.
