AMZ Review XPT: Great quality. Easy to use. I ordered the wrong color and this looks awful on the chair ONLY because of this. The tape itself achieved the job and adhered to the chair covering the hole, but again because I chose the wrong color it looks bad.
I would still highly recommend this product.
I would purchase again, but make certain of the color needed.

Abraham Evangelista: This stuff does indeed cover damages vinyl or leather well. The material after a month shows no appreciable wear.

Take care when prepping the surface! If your vinyl or leather is pulling up or flaking, brush the surface thoroughly to remove loose materials before attempting to apply this patch. While it sticks well to smooth surfaces, the adhesive doesn't hold up to multiple removals and re-adhesions, and fails on fuzzy or dusty surfaces. I fixed this with a bit of polyurethane glue on the affected area, but if you do teh surface prep properly, and work carefully when applying, it should be no issue.

Ford Family: The tape itself is VERY thick but cut right it looks just fine. It’s not as sticky as say duct tape but hold very well.

Benson Llacer: Nice & easy to install. Only bad side is if use for small part it will not stick. But if ur using a big part is very good.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Lifts up quickly and needs to be redone. I I am a senior citizen who lives alone so it’s not like I’m hard on the chair that I covered. Just needs to be sticky gear to hold better. It does work well though for the period of time at holds which was about four months.

J. Rousse: This tape was a little thick to cut, but, once I got out my big-boy scissors and made the repair, it looked great. My chair with the ripped leather cushion looked almost new... for about a day. However, after I resumed sitting in it, the tape slid all around and would not stay put over the rip.

I tried reinforcing this with other pieces of tape to hold it in place. I think at one point I was prepared to painstakingly construct a brand new seat cushion made entirely of this tape, if necessary.

However, ultimately, I could not successfully use this tape for its intended purpose. Perhaps if the hole had been on the chair back instead of on the seat cushion, it would have worked OK. But as it was, the tape slid around every time my body shifted in the chair, and that's no good.

It also produced black bits of sticky tape-gum, that had rolled up into balls, apparently from the friction of the tape sliding around. So in addition to not working well, it made a bit of a mess.

I ended up buying a whole-chair slip-on cover to solve the problem. While that didn't look quite as slick as the black leather, it worked much better than the tape, and at the end of the...
