Jessica M.: For background info, I am a 31 year old woman with an Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. My depression symptoms are minimal and manageable for the most part, but my anxiety symptoms are disruptive to my life on the regular. I have tried various anti-depressants and was never really wowed with results and felt like the side effects just weren't worth it at all. I began researching natural alternatives and supplements. I previously tried the 5-HTP from Arazo Nutrition. I felt like that helped with sleep but I didn't really notice any changes with mood/appetite. Also I felt like if I took it on an empty stomach I became very nauseous. I eventually stopped taking it due to the underwhelming results but wondered if I switched brands would it help.
I then decided to try Naturewise, as it was reasonably priced and had many, many good reviews.
