Surprised by how comfortable these are. I can be fussy about such things, but I tend to forget these are on my feet. Very soft, and I don't find the gel material irritating. It is summer and I have been wearing these barefoot around the house and at night as I sleep. I have not tried them yet with socks or shoes, but I think they would work if the toe-box of the shoe is not too narrow. I have bought a second set so I always have a clean pair.
They are soft and stretchy, and I can see where they could tear if one is not careful taking them off. I try not to pull too much when I remove them. So far, so good!
And, yes, my toes seem to be "getting the hint", and are not creeping up on each other so much! Happy feet!

This is the best toe separator I've found as they are almost clear and can be worn even with sandles.
My only complaint is that the groove that separates the toes needs to be a bit deeper and the material a bit stronger.
They can slip out of place because of the depth of the in-between toe groove and they tend to last only a few days of use.
That said, I will continue to purchase this product because it is comfortable and virtually invisible.

Male Size 12 Shoe foot with 8 degree Hullux Valgus of great toe and Hammer to on second toe.
I have had to use two Large Gel inserts and had great difficulty keeping them in place when I put on my compression socks for my varicose veins.
Now I just use this device by itself. The loop that covers the top of my second toe also protects the top of my Hammer toe. Its great and comfortable. I have several as I wash them with soap and water in the shower and after they dry use a clean one each day.
Works for me.... Maybe someday Ill be able to take six weeks off to get the toes fixed... Till then this does it...

Original: I’ve bought these three times, this year. Desperately need them as they’re the only thing keeping me out of pain and I’ve worn them basically non-stop for a year with no problems.
The first time I ordered s/m and they were perfect. Looked and fit exactly as the image in this listing. The second time they were HUGE - easily the size of my big toe. Had to return them. The third time they were skinny to the point of being useless. They were smaller than the space already existing between anyones toes. I’m afraid to order again, but really need them. Customer service is iffy. They respond, although it takes a while, but nothing gets resolved. If you ask **specific** questions, they either don’t respond, or they respond with info but don’t answer YOUR question (such as: “are they going to be the right size, and when will they be in stock in the right size?” or “why do the listings on Amazon and your website show only 2 sizes, but I’ve received three...
