CB: I purchased this for my 6 year old grandson who loves the story of Titanic. I believe it is informative but not the best pick for him. I wanted authentic pictures and information that wasn't cartoonish or too babyish for him. I will put it up until he is older.

WLD: My grandson has become fascinated with the Titanic so I bought this book, and another, for him. It has photos as well as colorful drawings to highlight the information in the book. Also has "did you know" factoids that he really enjoys. This book engaged his attention.

Bry C: My three year old, watching a show, where they mentioned the titanic and started asking questions about it. We decided to purchase this book as we have several of the other National Geographic series of early readers, and this one did not disappoint. This book went in-depth about the building of the titanic, the sailing of the titanic and its ultimate demise, as well as people searching for the remains of the boat. Great book to read during the day or even before bedtime. My son loves reading it and even the number of months later we are still reading it at least once or twice a week. It takes about 12 minutes to read the entire book so it’s not terribly long. Do in-depth enough.
