After taking an upholstery class a few years ago, I finally decided to re-cover a chaise lounge chair that needed some sprucing up.
I started with a small screwdriver to dig out the staples used, but immediately realized it would take me at least a month to get all the staples removed.
Using this tool was a life saver. In the end, the chaise had over 1,450 staples in it (I counted them ALL)!!! I think I would’ve given up on this project if I didn’t have this awesome tool!!

bg: I have used the cheap store bought versions and always end up breaking the tip rendering them useless. This product is the real deal!!! It is worth every penny, and they don't want too many of those for you to get it home. The handle is wicked comfortable and never once did this feel like it was going to slip, out from my hand or off of the staple. It shows the craftsmen/women that make these really take pride in their work. I am beyond pleased and need to find more things to re-upholster.

J: I had some extremely deeply embedded nails in an upholstered surface that there was no way I could get out with a screwdriver or hammer. I was about to give up on every being able to get them out, but this thing saved me! Works awesome and make it easy and simple to get these suckers out. Very sturdy. I used a hammer to dig out the nails with this, worked great and no damage to surface.

Adam C.: First time reupolstering, so we started with a screwdriver and pliers. I figured there had to be a better solution, after reading a lot of reviews I went with this simple looking tool. Although it is simple it gets the job done at a much faster rate. Seems sturdy so I think it will hold up for a long time. Finally completed full set of chairs, not sure what I would have done without this tool.... actually I do we would have tossed the chairs and bought new ones.

bennettlo: I got this tool about a week ago and am already using it successfully. I am using it to pull temporary nails out of a wooden boat I'm building. It's much more exactly than any claw hammer I own and does a lot less damage than a screwdriver. My only gripe is around the QA. The prongs on my tool are not equally sized, one is noticeably wider than the other. This doesn't affect my work, but that type of thing could affect others.
