Keep the manual handy as you will need it to pair with new devices and change settings. I could not find any copies of it online, so I also copied it to digital files. That worked out pretty well because I could print the codes I use most onto a label making it quick and easy to setup the scanner wherever I am.
The Lower Speed setting slows the scan transmission down to your device. This setting is the only speed that gave me consistently accurate scans. I recommend trying that or the next higher speed (Low Speed) when starting out with this scanner.
I tried the wrist strap (included), but found it to be on the small side and also I like to put the scanner down or in my pocket a lot, so it wasn't getting used much. I removed it and prefer just the scanner sans strap.
Again, ensure you keep the manual around and handy. Also, this is a decent scanner and for the price point...boom! Easy choice.

This scanner works great. I did have a little trouble at first getting it to pair to my computer, but I emailed the seller and they sent me a corrected manual with the right codes to scan to get it to pair. Since then, it's been working exactly as I need it to. The seller was prompt and very helpful when I reached out to them.
I really like that it has a light that turns on while scanning. I regularly have barcodes on slightly metallic looking backgrounds that my other scanner, that just has a regular red laser scanner, has a hard time reading. I think the flash flattens that sheen a little so the scanner can actually read the barcode. I can see the bluetooth capability also being very useful in the future; my workplace is trying to transition to using more mobile computers, rather than stationary desktops.
Overall, a great product that I would recommend to anyone. It is slightly on the expensive side, but the extra features more than make up for the difference in price from less expensive models. The form factor is also

It’s not 100% compatible with square but it’s just a couple extra steps you have to do to make it scan your inventory when selling in person so no big deal. I used it for large expos and it lasted all day.
