Get the NAC&ZAC SUV Pet Barrier today and keep your pet safe and secure!Jules: I got this to keep my two 10 month old cats in the backseat during road trips. They used to cry constantly when I kept them in a pet carrier in the car and it drove me nuts so I hoped that giving them more space would help with that and it did! There was very minimal crying and it kept them safely in the back for the most part. I have a small sedan but still got the large size because I knew they would try to squeeze through the sides of it. I put a couple pillows in the space between the seat and the doors and above the headrest and that worked great. One of my cats is very adventurous and did try to go over the top of this so I just put some tape there the next time I used it to deter them. Overall, using this 8 hours so far I only had a cat in my lap once because the pillows moved and he shoved his way through. So I just secured them better next time. This was so easy to assemble and the mesh is strong. Very happy with this product.

I used this for the first time today to take my dog to the vet. Usually he'll try to kill us while I'm driving by jumping everywhere. Normally I use this pvc contraption that I created but it takes quite a bit of time to set up and it's not perfect and blocking his passage to the front. So I bought this as a quicker alternative.
I drive a 2014 camry se. This took me about 20-30 minutes to figure out how to set up for the first time. My car doesn't really have any obvious spots to hook it on the bottom so I struggled for a bit and had to figure out how to hook it around the bottom of my front seats. Bottom middle hooks were also interesting and they're held a bit unstably. I wish the adjustable fixtures were longer so that they're easier to hook. I was worried about them shooting loose if my dog decided to paw at them. This did a good job at keeping my dog out. It's transparent so my dog can still see me so he doesn't freak out and it doesn't block my view of the back windows or my rearview. I think when I'm setting this up in the future it'll probably take me 10-15 minutes. If my dog does decide to jump at this or scratch his way through he'd probably be...

Nicole:
UPDATE: I underestimated my dog...by the third trip he figured out that he could just push down on the top and hop over :-( The materials held up well and show no damage, but it's useless. So now we're trying the Bushwacker barrier that has a rigid 1/2" metal frame all the way around and using the NAC&ZAC SUV barrier to fill in the gap above the console - I want the barrier behind the front bucket seats and with the seat adjusted for my short legs, the console interferes with the full size barrier.
This actually works really well for my dog (leggy hound) even though it doesn't fit my vehicle (Xterra) very well (I couldn't attach it as shown) The dog is fine when I'm in the vehicle, but gets up front and rummages through everything when left alone and leaves a mess of dirt and hair. I really needed to keep him in the back and so far, this does it. I could tell he tried to push through it but it held. A smaller dog could easily go around the sides though - - if your pet will fit between the headrest and the door, this product probably won't work for you. Finding attachment points was an issue - I had to use the headrests and a loop at the bottom...

I bought this because we are moving cross country and our 120 pound mastiff loves trying to get in the front seat with us.
The mesh netting is good quality and I think it will hold up quite well, even if our dogs try to scratch at it.
The S hooks are nice and durable and make it easy to connect to the handles in the backseat.
Sadly, it doesn't fit a town and country van too well. The handles are too far back so it leaves a huge opening for them to put their head through and wiggle their body into. The hard piece at the top that is there to keep it sturdy does not hold up to a 120 pound dog trying to get through.
If you have smaller dogs then this would work perfectly. For large dogs it would probably be best to get one of the metal barriers. I think we will have to upgrade.
For now this will have to do. Luckily our dogs respond well to Pet Corrector (look it up on Amazon!) so this barrier and the pet corrector will most likely work fine for our cross country drive. I hope anyway lol

Liz: This product seems like a great idea, however, the materials used aren't up for the job. To attach the net, you have to use slick 's' hooks and hope they stay attached to both the net and your car's grab handles. They would be better if they were clips that wrapped around the grab bars. Secondly, and this may just relate to my own car (Rav4) but there is nothing to attach the bottom of the net to. Additionally, the top kept sliding and loosening so the net didn't stay taught and the cat was easily able to get in to the front seat. The net itself is made of sturdy materials and the corners are reinforced so I think it wouldn't rip easily, but the fact that the 's' clips kept falling off and the slides wouldn't stay was very frustrating and made for a less than helpful product.
