Peter: This is Brock Lesnar by Brock Lesnar.
He is not an outgoing personality and will not go into great details about his personal life as that is his life. What he will discuss is his sporting achievements, whether it be amateur wrestling, professional wrestling or the UFC fights he had.
In this book, we get a fast paced look at Lesnar and he tells some good stories about his life. It is not a long book (bit over 200 pages) and there are a lot of blank pages and short chapters throughout so not a long read at all.
I like Lesnar a lot, not only for his wrestling/UFC exploits (great as they were and are) but for his self belief in changing careers mid-stream from wrestling to the UFC. Being able to change careers like that is truly remarkable.
He is not afraid to give his opinions on certain wrestlers and Vince McMahon.
Overall a solid book, marred by the blank pages that makes the book look longer than it actually is.

Rose: Lesnar Fan? Wrestling Fan?

Neil Dsouza: As far as wrestling books goes, this cant be compared to Mick Foley's or Chris Jericho's masterpieces which cater to a whole different audience altogether. This book chronicles Brock Lesnar's rise to fame in the WWE and his journey outside of it in a tone that is distinctly familiar to fans of his. On multiple occasions, I found that the language that was used and the straightforward simplicity of the narration, accurately reflecting Brock's on screen and off screen personality. I do have one gripe though - the book is too short! Then again, if I think about it, I dont really see Brock penning a 700 page best seller so I should probably take back my comment .....
For long time fans of the beast incarnate and the former baddest man on the planet (if you believe UFCs marketing division), buying this book is a no brainer.

Brandon Kern: When I received this book in the mail I was slightly shocked at how thin it was (one of the smallest in my collection). This book will definitely be a quick read although, I'm an abnormally slow reader.
Just from the first few chapters the book comes off as an easy read and not a difficult incomprehensible piece which I enjoy. You can very much feel the personality of Brock as he describes his family life and his involvement in sports and his approach to life. I find this most important as often times when reading these bio/autobiography's you often feel as if the ghost writer or assistant writer is telling the story and the actual person is just providing facts. As I'm currently still reading this piece I will do an update to see how my current enjoyment turns out once I finish but I can currently say that I'm enjoying the read and would hope for a longer more detailed book by Brock in the future (while I highly doubt that will be a possibility).

R.K: I choose this ratings because i liked his book then the others, especially he wrote it with Paul heyman. Paul Heyman is the genius guy in wrestling business. I am not going to say he is good businessman after what happened to ECW. But i like his way how he find the talent out of talent. Broke, whatever you wrote in this book, i agreed with all of your points. How you survive your life from a farmer to an athlete. Your book is really inspiration for other people so can learn something about if they want to be successful then they have to believe in their self, just like you did, no matter what.
There is nothing about giving any dislikes to your book. Whatever you done in your life no matter in personal or professional, it was absolute brilliant.
But one thing we forgot to tell you, we both same little-bit in our personal life.
Thanks for the guideline of life man......

Kevin Quinley: Brock Lesnar tends to be a polarizing figure in MMA. Some people love him; others hate him. Very few are neutral. Some think he is a superb MMA practitioner. Haters dismiss him as a gorilla who simply takes people down, lacks submission skills and who tries to "lay and pray" his way to a win. (His arm triangle submission of Shane Carwin undermines that argument.) Some could care less that his earlier career was in pro rasslin'; others think it cheapens and demeans the sport of MMA.
Like him or hate him, it is indisputable that he is the UFC's cash cow. Nobody packs the gate or gooses up PPV buys like a fight featuring Brock. For all of his publicity, though, it has not been easy getting behind the façade of Brock Lesnar the Fighter. He shuns the limelight and seems content in the sticks of Alexandria, MN. You will not find him soaking up the nightlife in Las Vegas or dancing at the after-party. It was considered a coup for Dana White and Zuffa when they recently succeeded in getting Lesnar to agree to appear as one of the coaches on the latest season of the Spike TV reality show, "The Ultimate Fighter." If the show's producers thought there might be fireworks between...

Eiche: Definitely worth reading if you’re a fan. I listened to the audiobook and have the hardcover; interestingly, their content is different. Most notably there’s an unflattering chapter about Kurt Angle in the audiobook that’s absent in the hardcover, but I noticed numerous minor differences throughout.
