***Toy Collector***: A single mini-nature lesson is presented in each volume of the series and is decorated with rhyme and color. These books in the series offer a brief introduction to some of the wonders of nature and are aimed at children from preschoolers up to about age six. Rhyme is utilized to engage kids' interest and encourage participation while incorporating engaging full-page illustrations with lots of color.

The second book in the series will discuss several essential concepts, including what bees are and how they live as well as some common flower varieties that bees enjoy. The honey bee explains why bees and flowers get along so well in this book.

A brief nonfiction segment at the conclusion of the book offers basic details about insects and a few different kinds of flowers. Children are encouraged to read the narrative again and offer straightforward explanations. This book mixes learning and enjoyment into one convenient bundle.

Ruby: It turns out that I have had this wonderful book on my cloud since 2018! I have only just read it now to my daughter after rediscovering it.

Such a lovely, engaging book written in such a good style. The illustrations are all so very beautiful and really help capture the magic of bees. Very important book to teach youngsters particularly with the current severe lack of bees which would have devastating effects on us as humans.

Too many adults tend to pass on their fear of bees to young children who immediately panic when confronted by a bee so this is the perfect book to help teach and inform children that bees are not dangerous nor will they deliberately sting.

Definitely a five star book and I am planning on reading this to my other young ones. Thank you so much 🌻

Gail Christian: Colorful illustrations will keep the child's attention as the story unfolds while they read. Well done. Explains what bees do and that we really need bees to make flowers and trees. It didn't mention that they are also vital for growing fruits and vegetables for us to eat.

When our special needs daughter was young and you asked where milk came from, she would say, "Cows." If you asked her where honey came from she would say, "Panchos!" (A Mexican restaurant that served honey with the sopaipillas.) That was until Grandpa started raising bees. She was FASCINATED with them. Unfortunately, she learned the hard way not to try taking the lid off the box. She just wouldn't believe us when we told her to stay away from them. I guess she thought bees wouldn't hurt her since they made honey for her.

Lilly's Book World: I absolutely loved this book! It is really adorable and after reading just this one from the series I am convinced that the “Mummy nature Series” is fantastic to say the least.

The illustrations are very suitable for a children’s book. All faces have smiles, a lot of colors are used and each object of insect is very clearly portrayed. It is definitely a great way to attract the little one’s interest and can even raise one’s spirit. I was in a very good mood while reading it. The story is told in verse and it even has its own melody. I could easily see this in a song.

These particular drawings make the story understandable and appealing telling a bee’s story to a child who’s afraid of being stung is quite challenging, but the author has done it in a very enjoyable way.

What’s more important is that it is a very educative book as well. For example, there are lessons at the end in regards to different kind of flowers and kids are encouraged to find them in the story. It is both interactive and helpful.

As with most books I receive, I have a copy in a kindle format, so I can only state my opinion in regards to the electronic version....
