it cuts very well and is not a bad knife.....extremely sharp!! BUT the blades do not insert easily. It is nearly impossible to do it without cutting yourself. Be sure you know exactly what to do before you work with the blades. Do not recommend if you have very arthritic hands and fingers... it is high quality but it scares me and I have used electric knives for decades.
