Dinogirl7: I bought some pruners from Fiskars last year, and I swear they were made of cheese or something, because after a few weeks the blade was so dented I could barely use them. My rose bushes are not made of steel cable, so I was confused. I bought these from Mueller a few months ago after being pleased with some other home gear from this brand, and they're holding up much better! I assume this is how normal pruners ought to behave. I've been using them all spring and summer, and I haven't noticed any significant damage to the blade. They're easy to hold in my small hands, too, and have a decent locking mechanism.

Rosalie Redard: The mechanism that holds the blades together keeps falling apart. It screws on with just a few threads and no matter how much I tighten it, it falls apart after a few cuts. Muller Gardens apparently read my feedback and contacted me and sent new shears. Even though Amazon would only replace after 2 months (I was long past that date), Muller Gardens has a lifetime guarantee. Did not even have to incur the expense of sending the old ones back. Great service!
