M.A.: It's so sweet looking, easy to pour and prefect for my small restored 1920s vintage kitchen. It's quicker to heat than kettle on propane gas stove. Plus, it's cleaner and cheaper to use my solar panels than expensive propane (we have no natural gas in our rural community) for my tea and instant cold brew coffee powder. Only recommendation It's to have 2 other ope sing for the cord to side through to keep cord shorter. If you make it too short, then doesn't rest flat. I love this kettle so much, I will measure and mark where cord outlet is perfect length and notch out the opening for myself.

MrBargain: I love this kettle. It only does one thing, but it does it well. It is compact and easy to use. I have used many Mueller products and with rare exceptions they have been well built, useful and easy to use. This one is no exception. Now even those few friends who say, "I can't cook. I can't even boil water," will be able to boil water! Problem solved!

joe318: I didn’t realize how hot the metal would get. I’m use to the outside being insulated. But I love the copper look. Just have to watch the knuckles. Not as stable feeling as I’d like but good price.

Energy Coach: I was looking for a kettle to make coffee when traveling, but the travel ones were all too small. I like a large cup of coffee, and with pour over, I need extra hot water to warm the cone. This 1 liter is the perfect size.

I got it in copper, and it’s very attractive. Even though I got it primarily for traveling, it’s very pretty sitting on the counter. I like that the base doesn’t get hot and the cord is attached to the base so you can take the kettle wherever you want without needing to stay 2’ from the electric outlet.

The handle is very comfortable and stays cool. I also like that it turns off automatically so I don’t have to remember to turn it off or unplug it.

The opening is large enough to put my hand in and clean it inside (though a man might not be able to because it’s not that large of an opening).

The gooseneck makes it so much easier to make pour over coffee. It’s very lightweight so easy to pack and take with me.

I haven’t timed how long it takes for the water to boil, but it seems pretty fast. I think it took longer to heat water in a pan on the stove.

I love this kettle and highly recommend...

MareeM: Didn't realise this kettle did not have an Australian plug. None of my adapters would fit - I have never seen a plug like it before. So had to get an electrician to put an Australian plug on it - which meant I couldn't return if defective. It worked beautifully for about a week & then stopped. Power getting through (light is on), but won't boil. I believe the element must have something wrong. Even when it was working, it gathered a lot of moisture underneath, on the base. It is also wobbly on the base unless filled with water, even then a little wobbly.
