JRO: Can is compact and light but very sturdy. The foam insert holds loaded magazines easily and firmly. This is a great way to keep loaded mags handy or ready for range day. Highly recommend. The only problem you may have is collecting enough 1911 mags to fill it up!

Warren PeaceWarren Peace: It may have 16 slots for mags but there's no way 16 mags will fit. I managed to get 12 mags (combination of sig, beretta and cz) to fit but there's no room for a fourth mag once three mags are placed in a row. Carrying 12 mags to the range isn't too bad so I'll keep it but if you have your heart set on lugging 16 mags with you you'd better find another way to carry them.

Jae FernandezJae Fernandez: I love this can. It fits all my 1911 magazines perfectly spaced apart, which I can be pretty OCD about. I'm not sure why people complain about there not being any foam on the bottom. Sure there may not be any foam to protect your bullets if the magazines are loaded or your followers if the magazines aren't, but that's ONLY an issue if you store them with the top of your magazines facing down. Guess what? They can be stored right side up! As a matter of fact, the picture of the product on the sticker it comes with shows the magazines being store right side up! So there's no issue! I'm not even sure why you'd really want to store them upside down to begin with...
Anyways, great product that I definitely love. I store my (6) 7rd Springfield Mags along with my (9) 8rd CMC Power Mags in there (both loaded and unloaded) with absolutely no problem. Honestly, they're a great way to keep your investment (magazines aren't cheap) safe while in storage or during transport. Would I buy this again? Absolutely.

steve higginbothamsteve higginbotham: The MTM storage box was just what I was looking for to store my magazines. Having a dozen different guns and 60 plus magazines it really made it easy to organize everything. I have 4 MTM boxes that are now labeled and full. When it’s time to go to the range I’m not shuffling thru magazines to get the ones I need.
The fact they also stack on each other they take up very little space.
