JD Bart: Arrived with 2 of its rubber feet missing but still works. A couple of weaknesses: the way the hot water drips into the well, it pushes the coffee grounds aside so they do not steep properly. That is a real drawback. A lid that spread the hit water evenly over the grounds is wanted. And if you leave it on with coffee in it for any length of time, the coffee gets bitter because the temp is a little too high and can't be adjusted. Otherwise, it makes coffee like it's meant to. My problem is I can't find really good coffee. It never tastes like it smells, does it?

Star Halasah: This is the perfect coffee pot if your the only one drinking coffee, but if there are multiple people in the household you may want to find one with a bigger pot. This will fill one large cup, or 2 small coffee mugs just barely before you have to brew more.

If your looking for just you, this may be the thing your looking for, and at the price point it is an excellent choice.

Katie M.: We needed a small coffee pot that didn’t take up too much counter space. This one works great, keeps coffee hot, and is easy to clean. It can drip a little on the hot plate, I’m not sure if it’s from under the carafe lid or somewhere else, but we have napkins nearby to clean it up quickly.

Amazon Customer: This coffee pot is very well designed! The little coffee basket is well made & easy to clean. No paper filters needed. I love that when I pour the coffee into my cup, it doesn’t spill all over the table while pouring. My last pot was tricky to pour w/o it spilling sideways off the pouring spout. Highly recommend this one!

So an update… left coffee maker on once and forgot to shut off… auto shut off is not working on this unit. Defect. I paid $$$ more for this feature. Mr Coffee warranty support says they have discontinued all 5 cup coffee makers :( and the replacement they offered me was as 12 cup … WTF??? They say they do not have a supply of them any more. Hmmmm, my rating just lost a few points for this. I noticed this just after my return window closed.

SomebodySomebody: For a long time I've searched for Mr. Coffee's 4 cup coffee maker but all I've found here and on eBay is one that's not used. That one is at a ridiculous price when you add in a highway-robbery price for delivery. What would show up in my searches on Amazon was this 5 cup version. I had resisted buying it for about a year, but finally ordered it a few nights ago -- then promptly cancelled the order because some reviews made me think I wouldn't like it. Fast-forward to last night shortly before midnight. I decided to give this maker a chance to prove it was worth buying, so I hit the buy button. It was here, waiting for me when I woke up today.

I love it. The design differences between this model and the 4 cup one were things I thought I would hate, but I don't. Really, I have only one quibble. The filters don't fit nicely in the filter holder, but that doesn't affect how they perform. Over time I may be disappointed if the pot's lid gets coffee stains on it. Cleaning this 5 cup model is easier than the 4 cup one is. That's because my hand fits more easily in the pot for drying it, thanks to the bigger size. I also like the finish on this model. It's mostly a matte white...

Cliente de Amazon: Es cafetera muy funcional, tenía mis dudas por el precio pero esta increíble.. el único detalle es que no trae filtro integrado y eso me causa conflicto ya que se genera mucho desperdicio con los filtros de papel. Sin embargo por qué mismo se consigue el filtro permanentemente y le queda perfecto!! La cantidad de tazas son 5 pero cada dos equivale a una grande, para uso personal esta perfecta !!
