ObsidiaObsidia: Out of the box and stock this numpad is only average. The Outemu switches are awful. Massive rattle/ping to them. The keycaps are actually double shot, but very thin plastic and cheap feeling. The backlight is not that great, but that doesn't bother me, I just keep it turned off anyhow. Having said that, for $15, this is a great little board for modifying. I unsoldered all the outemu red switches, and replaced them with lubed Gateron yellow milkys. Also replaced the stabalizers with something a little nicer. Then finished them off with some thick boy XDA profile keycaps. I freakin love how this keypad turned out, and it's perfect. I already had the switches and keycaps. An hours worth of modding, and well worth the $15.

Phillip C.: Don't know what's up with the FN key and why they didn't just turn it into an "=" sign. I suspect they were going to make it macro-programmable and just gave up on it, since the back of the box mentions something about "flash memory".
Poopy loose blue switches are par for the course, I swapped them with others. This board does make for a fantastic customizable numpad, if you were looking for a cheap one. No $35 "DIY kit" nonsense that's missing a chip. Yeah, I know that one is QMK compatible. Yes, I am a little jealous.
Included stabilizers are also poopy, but what did you expect for the price? I'm going to mod them later.
Cable that came with this numpad exploded after a few minutes plugged in. No idea why it cut out like that, but I suspect something burnt out. Thankfully, my computer seems unscathed and the numpad still works with quality cables.
Rejoice, modders, for this numpad includes plenty of hollow space for you to store your junk in. This includes foam, silicone, lead, dead bodies, and other various things to make your numpad feel and sound "thockier." The switch plate on top is even made out of metal.
The electronics seem good, but...

HazelHazel: First things first, I always consider the price in terms of what I am paying for a given product in relation to the overall value/rating. That being said, this is the most inexpensive mechanical numeric keypad that I was able to purchase on
Amazon as of 5/24/2020. I only use the numeric keypad when I am working which involves entering in a lot of numbers generally between 4-6 hours a day.
Please Note:
I specifically purchased this numeric keypad and a TKL keyboard with the intent of modding and lubing them so with that being said let’s get to it.
Here are a couple of things that stood out right away for me.
1. I noticed that the keypad was not leveled. When I hit the escape key, the bottom right hand side of the keypad would lift up quite a bit.
2. I noticed a prominent pinging noise when using the keypad. The pinging noise bothers me, but considering the price this can be easily overlooked.
3. While I appreciate the fact that they provided any type backlighting, at this price point I would have much preferred a simple white LED over the blue LED. There is a switch on the back to turn off the blue LED if you wish to do...

Jeffery Jensen: I combed through the available information for this device. I needed a 10 key that would connect to a usb-c on the computer. This device has a USB-C connection on itself, and the other end of the cord is a normal USB. So you will need an available standard USB connection on the computer. Please be precise with your device information. "No drivers required,Type-c usb interface. Supports NumLock, ESC, Tab, Delete etc." And yes I have a dongle for it. I was looking for devices that plug directly into the USB-C connector.
