Pam: I love this product because I can safely get the water to the correct temperature since my water that I thought was to warm was actually cold! however I wish there was an on and off switch sometimes it will take a min or so of being in the water to display the temperature and other times it does it right away

Matt: The Mothermed Baby Bath Thermometer makes bath time for your little one a breeze :)

Toss it in the tub (or sink) and let it float around as you are filling up. As soon as the two little metal electrodes touch the water it turns its self on and starts taking the temperature of the water. If the temperature gets to hot it starts to flash a red light to let you know to either wait for it to cool down or add a bit of cooler water to even it out. Once it is out of water it turns itself off until the next time it gets wet.

Also, it seconds as a cute toy for the little one to play with and splash about with during bath time.

Battery life was fantastic as well with it providing 3yrs of daily service for us.

Worth while to keep as a momento when the little ones transition over to shower time. Seeing it years later still brings back those happy memories of them giggling and playing with stingray in the bubbles :)

LindsMod: The thing is pretty simple to use and comes with a battery, so that's nice. But, the temperature readings on this thing are just ALL over the place.
Thankfully, I'm using this for me (because I'm pregnant) and not a BABY who cant actually tell me its too hot or cold. But, the first time i used this it told me the temp was 105f so, added cold water and it went down. i left the thermometer in floating and it fell and rose randomly for over 30 minutes. I didn't add water so it couldn't have been getting HOTTER.
The next time the thermometer told me the water was 107f. I actually went and got my husbands grilling thermometer that told me it was closer to 99f. Which felt more correct to the touch.

I dont think this produce is accurate. its been entirely too inconsistent with the numbers its throwing out.
