I recently had the opportunity to try out the Mookis Car Dent Removal Kit, and I must say, it left me pleasantly surprised. cheap poor quality plastic that break easily. several of the puller tabs snapped, the screw knob on the puller bar broke, then one of the two feet on the bar broke, the flimsy yellow spatula you use to get the glue tabs off the car body broke... all of this on the first time trying to use it. AND it didn't do a very good job on any of the dents i tried to use it on. what a POS.

My first usage of this tool was on a sunny day on a black vehicle. This did not work well because the glue did not adhere or cool enough to pull strongly enough. I used the tool on a fall day of 15 celcius, same vehicle, no sunshine. I opted for the black glue sticks and worked on 4 small dents, setting pull tips and pulling them each incrementally. I found that if I squeeze the handle many times to 'rock' the panel before giving it a "pull off" squeeze, this seems to have better results. My dents were very small like if you hit the panel with the end of a screwdriver. One of them was a little more oval and deeper, for which I used an oval shaped pull tip. Long story short - by picking a good day to do it, using the black glue, and by not expecting perfect results on each pull - but multiple pulls incrementally instead - I now have a much improved result. I'm ready to skim a very tiny bit of bondo, sand flat and do the prep work for a repaint. If you asked me to review on the warm day I'd give 1 star. But using the kit on a cooler day with better technique (tip - watch some YouTube videos) I now rate this product 4 stars. I'm only taking one star away for the...

and only some of the plastic puller tabs have broken. . . I am not sold on these dent pullers over all though. . . but compared to the $16 ones, this one is much, much better built. . . I had all kinds of hail small dents to pull, and only about 10% of them pulled like I had hoped; some wouldn't pull at all, and some were so, so, and still had to fill them and I was doing a complete paint job anyway, but didn't want to have to fill a couple hundred dents.

The glue is supposed to keep adhesion until the dent puller can do its work.
Every time I've tried it, the glue breaks without pulling the dents. The instructions said to wait more than 5 minutes, but no more than 10 minutes.
I waited 9 minutes on the dot to pull the tabs.
Glue still broke.
Don't buy this. The puller is good in theory, but the glue ruins it. Glue gun works fine, and the rest of the stuff is nice.

Did the job on a larger dent - however several of the bigger attachments broke/snapped while pulling. So I'm guessing they're weaker than the glue used to attach them - which isn't wonderful.

Worked as described,5 stars PDR toolsI bought this for my Chevy Malibu, many years old hail damage dings on it. I have never thought I would fix it by myself. Because in my opinion, such pdr tools is not a good choice to fix car dents. I run across this pdr tool in the HOT NEW RELEASE column when I was browsing . And I decide to have a try by myself. Because these little coin sized dents would spend me hundreds of dollars if I choice the auto body shop.
At first, I do not know how to get started cuz this is my first time to use PDR tools. Luckily, Mookis provide instruction which is enough for me to start my job. This pdr kit is of solid construction and very practical. The hot glue gun can be used as artifact job as well. Hot glue sticks are very sticky especially the black sticks. When you put the hot melted glue on the tab (about 3 minutes glue sticks begin to melt, and I wait for 1-2 more minutes for better result). BUT BE SURE do not touch the hot melted glue directly, So hot!!!!
