Tony Blackwell: Purchased this bike for my nine year old daughter and Christmas. Package arrived on time with no issues. It was super easy to put together. Install the front wheel, pedals, handlebars and the seat. Everything else was already assembled. Bike is very sturdy and the brand name for Mongoose serves it well as they typically have pretty good quality bikes.

Karl Fisher: This bike is great, once I fixed it. They don't build them like they used to. The bike arrived and the handle bars were pointed downward, the brake handle was popped out, the brakes for the front wheel were so tight, you could not install the front tire without loosening them and when I did, the brake line cap at the end flew off and the whole brake line came apart. The rear brakes were so loose it wouldn't stop the wheel from spinning at all. Thankfully I am pretty handy and fixed it all but an hour and a half later! Now that it is fixed by me the bike is very nice, but it needs so many adjustments so if you are expecting an easy install be prepared!

Theresa Corliss: I pitchased this mongoose from the warehouse in damaged packaging, so i saved almost $150. i was a tony bit bummed because this package was supposed ro still containe all hardware and the assembly tools and there was a nut missing and no tools, but i had the stuff 8 needed in my bike tool kit. and i borrowed the nut from an old bike. it was pretty simple to assemble, just had to put on the front tire, handle bars, seat (which has a quick release nut ao that was super easy. with that assembly andbthen adjusting the brajes and putting air in the tires i think it took me about 45 minutes. i took it out for a ride and it runs great! omly thong i had to do was raise the sear a little more because i am 5 foot 3 and right at that cusp for riding a 24 or 26 inch this frame is 16.5 i believe whoch feels good for my shorter legs.

KBouff: Derailer broke off while my daughter was Riding it. Luckily she didn’t get hurt. Very disappointing given the price.

J. ThomasJ. Thomas: Finding a bike in 2021 is hard. This was more than I was looking to spend since my daughter just rides the bike around the block and this comes with suspension and such for rougher trails. It's big enough that it should be good through HS.
The box that it came in was beat up and ripped. I was afraid parts might be missing but everything was zip-tied together and there. Assembly was much easier than expected, done in about 20 mins. One tricky part was getting the front wheel on past the brakes. It was easy to do once I realized you can release the brake cable after squeezing the brake arms together.
Once assembled and tires filled, I took it on a test spin before handing it over to my daughter. I noticed that when the pedal is forward and the wheel turned, my shoe would touch the tire. See the picture attached to see the spacing. The gear changing was smooth and everything was in working order.

Dallas: Beautiful, sturdy bike. We bought it last fall for our daughters birthday. She absolutely loved it! Problem is, it was such a nice bike, someone stole it this spring. We are considering ordering a second one even though the price has changed considerably since last fall. I would recommend this bike for any preteen girls. It is still girly without being childish.
