Be aware baby with shiver and a little gag but as long as they get some in the belly it helps! It seriously helps.

Amazon Customer: This product is great. My daughter is a bit Colic. She started getting better after 4 weeks. We gave the GW to her at 2 weeks but she was too young and it didn't settle well. So we tried again at 4 weeks and now she is 2 months old. I recommend adding it directly into her milk instead of in a syringe to her mouth. Sometimes they can choke this way.

Daniel O.: We used this product with our first baby....and now with our second baby, Mommy Bliss is a MUST. It really helps get the gas bubbles out of baby's tummy. It is a natural product (many contain alcohol and other nasty chemicals). I ONLY use this brand of gripe water.

Drawing the gripe water into the syringe is fine but twice now when I tried giving to my little one directly in his mouth, no matter how slow I push the plunger, at under 1 mL the plunger will just suddenly push down harder like there's air pressure (I've made sure there's no bubbles and I broke the air a few times out of the syringe before drawing). This caused me to accidentally spurt the gripe water all over my poor little one's face and I felt sooo bad. The instructions say to administer separately from feeding, so you are not supposed to mix with formula or breastmilk.
If this happens to you, I'd recommend drawing with the syringe to get the proper dose but use an alternate dropper or a separate nipple to give to your little one.
