MaSMaS: This is the craziest, most fun cookbook I have dug into in ages. Top off the wackiness of the whole thing, the author has a solid sense of humor. I'm usually read the intro and on the recipes kind of person. This time around I found myself loving the in betweens!

MeAtHome: I borrowed this cookbook from my library and liked it so much that I had to buy it! It's a cute cookbook to just sit down and read. The stories just made me happy and I would make almost all of the recipes...the decorative cakes, I have no patience for ;) The recipes aren't too fancy and they are a number of "no meat" recipes that I actually want to try. I only like cookbooks with pictures and this one is beautifully done.

Kim in CLT: I read the reviews, I figured this was going to be this raunchy filthy mouthed cookbook. Other were so incensed it went in the garbage. (Please if that is all you have to complain about in life your a lucky human being) ! If you love the quirky over achieving girl you see on FN you will love this book. I don't know anyone that went from her lifestyle to a sugar beet farm at the Minnesota, North Dakota border that wouldn't have a few pent up frustrations or scurrilousness. She is her quirky straight forward adorable self in a wonderful cookbook. I am an old school hard bound cookbook person. I don't mind a spatter or two on a page if a terrific recipe. I loved the buttermilk fried green tomatoes (I added the addition of a crab salad stacked with a fresh roasted corn relish), pistachio loaf delicious. I got the cookbook for her Challah recipe and it didn't disappoint! All the Alliums fried rice to die for. It will definitely make you laugh like ( her ex boyfriend's meatless meatballs! I just loved it. It changed my meatless views. I am cooking a lot more farm to table which is much healthier. It is a refreshing new perspective on food and flavor combinations I wasn't neccessary...

Minnie: I love this book. The recipes are down to earth but the stories are interesting as I watch Molly's program on television or if I can't be home when her show is on I record it.

AnneM: I recently saw Molly's show 'Girl Meets Farm' on HGTV and tried her Coconut Cream Pie which was an absolute hit with my family! (I made 3 pies in the space of 2 weeks for birthday celebrations!!) Molly's recipes are delicious and fun to make!

Linda Ekström: I have read Molly's blog for a long time and thought I wanted to get her book so that I could try some of her recipes. I really like her writing style (very direct and fun) and the illustrations/photos are lovely. I have yet to try the recipes but so far I really like reading through the pages!

BirdNest: This book is filled with really interesting and unique flavor combinations, and I definitely think that Molly's food sets her apart from many other food bloggers. Here is what I've made:
The Wild Rice Hotdish with Ras El Hanout, and while I had no idea what to expect from the combination of flavors it came out delicious. The Spring Vegetable and Quinoa Hotdish is at the top of my list to try next.
I also made the Everything Bagel Bourekas with Eggs, Scallions, and Cheese, which were a huge hit at my house. They were so delicious and tasted like something you would buy from a nice, hip bakery.
The Sesame Coffee Cake really highlighted the tahini flavor, which made it earthy and different from any other coffee cake I've baked.
The Dukkah Donuts which honestly were not my favorite, but I think it's mostly because I've discovered I'm not a huge blood orange fan.
The Scallion Pancakes and Maple Syrup Slaw were unreal good. They were a little involved--not hard. Just time-consuming. I probably should not have made them on a Tuesday, but it was worth it.
Spinach and Feta Rugelach were on rotation in my house for a while. It's a really great...

Seitan WorshipperSeitan Worshipper: This is more than just a cookbook, it's also an autobiography. Molly the author and blogger shares stories from her childhood and life with Eggboy, her Husband which all relate to food. If you're familiar with Molly's blog then expect the same content, humorous stories, fabulous photos and delicious food. If you are not aware of Molly and her blog, here's a quick heads up; Molly is an extremely cute, witty, talented musician turned farmers wife who lives on a farm in the Midwest. Formerly from New York and Chicago, she is also half Chinese, half Jew. Her culture and the places where she has lived have all influenced her cooking. There are some delicious exotic fusion sounding recipes in this book but I started with a pretty basic recipe, the Chicken Tater Tot Hotdish which I made the day I received the book because I had all the ingredients and I love tots! It was perfect winter comfort food. I also made the Goulash but didn't make the Knodeln dumpling Molly suggests you make with it because I was time challenged, instead we ate it with mashed potatoes. This dish was disappointing, it didn't have enough seasoning and lacked flavour, I'm guessing the Knodeln is the star of the show...
