It’s a nice soft texture with the ridges on the side for extra grip. Easy to put and on and remove. I’ve had it for 3 months now and it is very protective.

laureen1111: This cover is perfect. Fits nicely, looks great, adds nice grip and is super light weight so it doesn’t add much weight to my kindle at all. For those who dislike the power button on the bottom it adds a little protection from accidentally hitting it but still makes it easy to access when needed. I highly recommend this cover.

NHNH: Right off the bat, you should know that this a case for a very specific application. If you want a case that is not a folio style, adds as little weight and bulk to your Kindle as possible, and you plan on putting a Popsocket on the back, this is your perfect case. You can stop reading here if you want.

The nitty-gritty:

It's essentially just a TPU bumper attached to a thin sheet of clear polycarb making up the back. This design is super friendly to Popsockets and much lighter than an all-TPU design.

Off the top, it's also worth mentioning that there is one major downside to this case; the smooth back is one hellacious fingerprint-magnet. I've included a photo to show this. I didn't clean the Kindle in any of these photos, so you can see what the smudges really look like, with the case alone and with a picture underneath. But the smooth surface also makes it a snap to wipe clean and it protects the back of the Kindle, which is an even worse fingerprint-magnet and much harder to clean. Adding a picture under the back plate does make smudges much less noticeable.

Cecille V: This product easily fits on the kindle. It protects the screen and provides a mores secure grip when holding your kindle while reading. It also helps in keeping your hands off the kindle screen. It's also protects the on/off button and prevents one from accidentally pressing it. Good buy. I recommend it.
