HalesCometHalesComet: So pleased with this purchase! We completely renovated our bathroom and decided we wanted a glass sliding door instead of curtains so we could show off the shower. We feel that this door was very reasonably priced with great reviews. My husband and cousin were able to install it on their own in one afternoon and it’s perfect! We love it! And the doors are magnetic so that was a nice surprise! We did have some issues with leaking in the beginning but we added more caulk and that did the trick! I think that was more on our end though and not the door. Overall very happy!

G. BrownG. Brown: The installation instructions were hard to follow and I’m a pretty good handyman. The problem is after it’s cut to size, there’s little or no space left to properly seal the bottom and sides because it goes in as one big piece. After caulking the edges several times, it still leaked. Had to totally remove the entire enclosure, disassemble and slightly trim all three edges, then reinstall with lots of extra silicon. The totally time was maybe 16 hours, but with hindsight and better instructions, should have only taken half that time. Looks great, but a real pain to install.

Albert G.: The door was easily installed...by my handyman. It looks smart, but not as contemporary as the doors that are truly frameless and suspended from above. It is lighter in scale than the usual by-pass design. The bottom of the frame is high, so that when mounted on my relatively deep tub, it requires a surprisingly high step to enter/exit; something one gets used to quickly. The quality of the unit appears to be very good. Cleaning the glass is simplified by using Cleaning Vinegar and a wiper. No water escapes through the door.

Ian: Installation went pretty smooth. I goofed on the drill size for the wall anchors so I had to up size them and get bigger anchors/screws. Not a big deal just a trip to the HW store. Double check the size spec'd against the provided anchors, could have been an error there, I never went back an checked?

I love the unit itself. It has helped seal the tub up so the kids splashing stays in where it's supposed to. I like the center opening vs. the traditional side to side opening. Looks great too.

So far it's holding up well after a couple months.

Maureen H: Absolutely love it!! We replaced tub door with this one. It is gorgeous and I thought from the description these doors opened out when in fact they slide which makes it even a better product for our needs. This was the final touch in our bathroom we recently remodeled. The price was very reasonable and the free shipping made it a true buy!! It fit perfectly with some adjustments on the bottom corners made by my husband who is very handy. It is a tight fit and not flimsy whatsoever. Much better than the one we bought from Lowes many years ago. If you are on the fence I believe you won't be disappointed in this product. Glad I chose to buy.
