Carissa Keith: Had about 500 pounds up top and everything stayed put and didn’t collapse. I will say that the bolts that secure it to roof rails is kinda bulky and the screws go upward so be careful of ripping anything with them

David: Easy to use, easy to install, comes with everything you need. But it is rusty. I bought a can of spray paint and refinished some parts. I may have considered returning it if it wasn't for the fact that I needed it right away.

CdywolfeCdywolfe: We just got this product. The upon putting it together, one of the parts was slightly warped so it wouldn’t assemble correctly. We contact customer support about it. There was no waiting on hold. We told them what piece needed replaced and they shipped out the part. Super easy process. We got the new part in 2 business days and it assembled perfectly. It fits on top of our pacific cross bars and so far has not rattled or made any noise. We are leaving next week for a 3 week road trip and I will update with a review once it’s put to the test. We have not used the accessories yet, but will on our trip.

Mike SMike S: I got pretty much what I expected after reading other reviews.

Assembly was fairly straight forward. Low information instructions, with low attention to detail. but I could figure it out. No information on really how to attach the “attachment plate” and orient the bolt and the washer/nut stack. Always put the flat washer against the material surface and the lock washer between the flat washer and the nut for best retention - the preassembled stack was backwards of course. Some bending of tubes to get stuff to line up, but surprisingly I didn’t have to fight tolerance on hole placements to get bolts thru considering the over constrained design. Most of the little plastic end caps on the open tube ends were rattling around in the bottom of the box - assuming they were protective covers for shipping I pulled the others off. Then I read another review about these open tube ends letting in water and snagging on stored objects, then it dawned on me to put them back as they might be part of the design! These same open ends are not well lined up and look kind of bad. I don’t imagine I want to put heavy loads on the center section as it is completely...

Harmony MahaffyHarmony Mahaffy: Really excited to get this as were gearing up for a long road trip. It seems sturdy and fit great. Unfortunately it was rusted in several spots and the paint wad chipping everywhere when we opened it out of the box. Also the hardware was really cheap and basically fell apart after removing it for fit and putting it back in the box. Glad we never used it as it's clearly poorly and cheaply made.

BrandonBrandon: I don’t usually leave reviews on products but I must say for this item I was quite impressed. I live in Southern California and was visiting family in Central Idaho and needed extra storage space and it was a last minute sort of thing so I ordered this item briefly looking at some reviews to get an idea of what I was buying. Most reviews said the item tended to rust rather quickly no big deal a couple of spray cans should solve the issue(I used rust oleum stops rust flat black with a matte clear coat). Upon arrival I noticed some damage on the rack there is 2 pictures that are dented again no big deal as I was able to bend them back into place. The rack was the perfect size no issues there. Now the final concern was I read a review or 2 saying the bag was not weather proof which is obviously a big concern I had and I had absolutely no issues and the bag held up PERFECTLY! Keep in mind I drove a total of 1600 miles give or take and endured very heavy rain over the span of 5 days and a snow storm as you can see in one of my pictures and my luggage and stroller were completely dry. All in all if you are looking for a decently priced roof rack to get the job done...

William HutzulWilliam Hutzul: We bought the product to carry our second set of tires across Canada (moved from Toronto to Vancouver). Here is what I can tell you about our experience:
- Absolutely ZERO installation instructions (but we used our brains to figure it out)
- It fit both all 4 tires, stacked 2 on top of each other, and kitty corner (SUV tires). The basket is in "extended" mode in this picture
- Also had room to put our gas can on top (can't see in photo because it's on the other side)
- We did not use the cargo bag as it's not very big (barely fit 2 tires)
- It held VERY well; BUT we were careful to ensure the cross bars were centered under the wheels to ensure the load was properly distributed, and we used strong Thule crossbars as I am pretty sure we were pushing or over the verified weight limit. We also ensured the four basket "feet" that connect the basket to the cross bars was as close to the car's side rails as possible to properly distribute the load away from the centre to ensure the cross bars didn't bend in the middle. We also used 3 straps (not the ones provided in the package, but our own straps) to let the tires down, and we wrapped those straps around...
