I am new to using this type of product, so i am not able to compare to other types. This is a very lightweight package with the arm band easy to slip o . Once that is on it is only the push of a button and a digital reading will pop up on the screen. I am not knowledgeable about others and accuracy but I will take my pressure twice and use the 2nd reading, which is usually lower. I would recommend this product.

The MONOCare app required to keep track of your BP readings syncs it's data with Apple health. This is what sold me on buying this item. I have an Apple Watch and I use most of the the Health apps, so I wanted my blood pressure readings to be Folded into all of my other records on Apple health. The original app does do well on its own, however.

The cuff did not fit on my arm between the elbow and shoulder. I thought it was a child cuff. In the app, it was showing putting the cuff between the elbow and wrist, so I did it that way, and the reading is around what I get from the doctors offices. It pressurizes differently than normal. When putting the cuff on, make sure it is snug. It seems to error if it has to pump too much air before it detects the pressure on your arm. A normal blood pressure device pumps up the cuff to a higher pressure then what you need, then takes reading as it deflates. This one takes reading as its pumping up, so once it finds the upper number, it deflates. It does the blood pressure and heart rate. I used a finger oximeter, which also does heart rate, and they were very close. I like that it adds the readings to the iphone health app, so I don't have to do it manually. My oximeter is also blue tooth and fills the health app automatically. Now I just need one for the thermometer!

I want to do daily monitoring of my blood pressure, so I bought this because of the app for journaling. I presume it's trying to conserve battery life by shutting off Bluetooth. It didn't come with an AC adapter. The print instructions don't match the device, for example it will say to press +, then....
Except there isn't a + key on it.
My doctor's said the cuff, while "adult" was too small and will cause inaccurate and higher readings.
While trying to reconnect again, I found a calibration setting, and it said to do so before use...that should have been mentioned in the guide. I don't know if I should bother saving the readings I have given the info above.
