bookreader: The many pockets and zippered sections are great. I also like the color, hanging hook, and quilted look on the side. The problem is the zippers don't open and close easily (when made, the covered seam fabric is too large and it gets in the way of the zippers every time I open or close. Instead of quickly zipping things up, I have to use one hand to hold the excess seam fabric out of the way and then carefully zip it. I didn't have time to return it before my trip so ended up keeping it but if I'd had more time, I'd have returned it. I sew a lot so plan to take it apart and make the zippers work better but if you can't do that. I'd probably look elsewhere. I probably won't use the clear extra bag either so would have rather had the price reduced a bit and not gotten that.

M. Stewart: Just got this bag. Was kind of disappointed at how heavy it is before I even put anything in it. I cut off the bottom vinyl pouch that hangs down at the bottom when you hang it up. Makes the whole thing too long imho and seemed like it might not stay on well. The bag itself looks good and will hold a lot of makeup and toiletries. Also comes with a separate clear pouch. It holds a lot, so probably overkill for a weekend trip.

EF: So glad I got this. Took this on a 2 week trip to Hawaii and it worked perfectly. Fit my stuff(I have a lot of stuff) and my husbands stuff. I used to carry several small makeup bags and wanted one bag for everything.
Skin care, makeup, all my makeup brushes, toothpaste, perfume, shampoo, conditioner, even my curling iron! …. You name it we got it to fit. However!! This is very bulky in the luggage, if you’re like me and want to fit everything in this bag. I didn’t realize how bulky until the morning of our flight. I had to take some of the small items out and take it on our carry on. Not a big deal though. We were able to pack all kinds of souvenirs in our luggage and never got over the weight limit. Just be aware that it’s very bulky once you zip everything up.
