Inthekitchen: I have no idea if it actually is an aid to hydration, but I certainly don’t mind drinking the water when it is in there.
I since the container is so small, I put in in my backpack and carry it everywhere. It lasts pretty well, although I am heavy on my dosing - I like a strong flavor. It does work out significantly cheaper than Gatorade, so if you are thinking about it, give it a go. My kids actually love it too, a blessing as I now substitute it for soda when they want a treat.

Peter Marone III: This is my favorite squeezey-bottle water 'enhancer' due to it's taste, which is a Delicious orange flavor. That's all I view it as - a delicious, flavorful add to plain water and a "treat" to use sparingly when I want something other than plain water. The "fit" is typical sports drinks salts and B Vitamins - less of both when compared Powerade Zero (bottled) and the same as Powerade Zero Drops.

This product lends itself more to local purchases for individual bottles - even if it says "free shipping" - the cost is baked in the price (e.g. over $6 for a single bottle!). Bulk options online can provide savings, even though the retail bottles tend to be slightly larger (1.62oz vs. 1.08oz), but considering we're still talking over $2/oz, those savings can be small. I frequently find these locally on sale with a $1 savings per bottle, which is the best value when you can find it.

So, if you are going to buy online, certainly do so in bulk, and hopefully with free shipping.
